So, here are my top last minute Mother's Day gift ideas, which could be with you in a day or so and will no doubt make your Mum's day. And first up we have two incredible Mother's Day deals that Very.co.uk are running at the moment.

COACH Leather Pillow Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 in Deep Berry (£330 - Was £550)
This is honestly my Mum's dream bag. Every time that we visit the Coach store in Edinburgh's St James Quarter we always gravitate towards the Pillow Tabby section. But my Mum loves colour, which is why she isn't the biggest fan of the classic black or cream shades. So, when I saw this had come out in a berry shade (with purple being her favourite colour) and that it had over £200 off, it felt meant to be. I can't wait to see her reaction when she opens this a week today!
Marc Jacobs Daisy Ever So Fresh 30ml Eau de Parfum (£49 - Was £74.99)
Marc Jacobs' iconic Daisy fragrance is one of my Mum's favourites and she's picked up many a different iteration over the years. 2024's limited edition scent is a new take on the classic Daisy Eau So Fresh. Daisy Ever So Fresh combines fruity top notes of mango, pineapple and mandarin orange with a cashmere wood base note and orange blossom and rose water. I gave it a sniff on my recent trip to St. Enoch and it is just such a gorgeous perfume. I have a feeling a number of Mums would really love this scent, especially if they're already fans of the Marc Jacobs Daisy range.

Emma Bridgewater Wild Daffodils Mum 1/2 Pint Mug (£25)
If your Mum loves a good brew or whipping up a hearty hot chocolate, why not upgrade her favourite mug to this one from Emma Bridgewater. The wildflowers design also screams spring and with Mother's Day just a few weeks before the spring equinox, the design is perfect for this time of year.
Katie Loxton Carded Mum Charm Necklace (£27)
This is such a special keepsake and something that will commemorate the occasion. The necklace is so pretty and it being 18K gold plated means that it's waterproof and sweat proof, which is perfect for my Mum who goes swimming several times a week. I love the combination of the two charms too.

V by Very Stripe Revere Pyjama Set in Pink (£30)
You really can't go wrong with a pair of pyjamas and look how stylish this V by Very pair are! I know my Mum will love the pop of colour and stunning stripe design. Plus, my Mum doesn't really treat herself to new pyjamas all that often, so she's always appreciative when she receives a new pair for a special occasion like Mother's Day or Christmas.
Accessorize Bianca Check Blanket Scarf (£24)
It can still be pretty chilly this time of year, which is why a lovely scarf is always a nice choice. This one, from Accessorize, features a beautiful gingham/checked design in shades of pinks. But I also think these floral, spotty, ombre and swirl designs would also go down well.

Pink Prosecco And Lindor Chocolate Bouquet (£28.99)
If you're still not sure what to get your Mum, this gifting bouquet made up of strawberry and cream Lindor chocolates, pink Prosecco and silk roses is a no brainer. Plus, look how brilliant it looks! All you need to do is hand it over on Mother's Day.
ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Icons Collection (£120)
For skincare obsessed Mums or those looking to take better care of their skin, a skincare set is a great option. This one from ELEMIS contains three of theirs bestselling and most beloved products. There's the cult classic Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, the award-winning Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and the super hydrating Pro-Collagen Night Cream. And by buying them in this set, you also save quite a bit compared to buying them separately.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (11th generation) in Black (£179)
If you're truly looking to treat your Mum this Mother's Day, or you and your siblings are pooling your money together to get her a bigger gift, I can't recommend my next two picks highly enough. My Mum used to read the odd paperback book but as soon as she got a Kindle she quickly started reading each and every day. We both prefer reading on our Kindles, instead of opting for a traditional tablet, because there are no distractions from app notifications. Plus, we find it makes reading so much easier than with a hardback or paperback, especially as we read a lot in bed at night and when we travel. Set your Mum up with lots of books to choose from as soon as she opens up her Kindle by adding on a Kindle Unlimited subscription too.
ghd Duet 2-in-1 Hot Air Styler in White (£379)
My Mum always tends to get my hand-me-downs when it comes to hair tools and ghd's in particular. The pair of straighteners that I used while at Uni are still going strong all these years later. But it would be so nice for her to have her own brand new pair of ghds. And both of us have been so intrigued by the Duet Styler. It basically saves you from having to blow dry and then straighten your hair. Instead, it takes you from wet to dry and sleek all in one tool. It is a definite splurge but it will last for years and get used every day.
