If you know me, you know that I definitely prefer a more natural makeup look. It's why brands like Rare Beauty, Bobbi Brown and Merit Beauty have become staples in my makeup bag. But one brand that caught my eye every time that I was in the States and having a wander around Sephora, was ILIA Beauty. And thankfully they've just launched in Space NK here in the UK.
I've been putting a few of their bestselling products to the test for around a month now. And here are my thoughts;

So, here's what it was like trying ILIA Beauty for the first time;

ILIA Beauty Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 30 in Rendezvous ST1 (£48)
I much prefer a skin tint to a full coverage foundation, which is why I was incredibly excited to try this one out. Now, it definitely gives you light coverage but you can build it up, if you need to. I find that this lighter coverage works well at evening out my skin tone and giving me a nice glow, which I really appreciate. But it could be a bit on the light side for some, depending on what you're looking for.
The consistency of the skin tint really does feel more like skincare first, rather than makeup, which again is something I like. And because of it feeling like a serum, it's easily one of the most nourishing and hydrating skin tints that I've tried, which my often dry and parched skin loves. But what makes this stand out from some of the other skin tints that I have tried is the shade match. I mean, it couldn't be more perfect for my skin tone. I often find that skin tints come in really generic shades, which are never quite light enough for me. However, the lightest shade (Rendezvous ST1) is such an incredible match. I've solely been wearing this as my base since I first received it and can see myself doing so until I finish it. By which time I'll be ready to pick up another.

ILIA Beauty True Skin Serum Concealer in Mallow (£30)
I get why this concealer has so many 5 star reviews. It's creamy yet lightweight, has a nice medium coverage to it, doesn't crease and you don't need a lot of it either. There's just one thing that stops me from loving it wholly and that is the shade. Much like with the Skin Tint, I opted for the lightest shade. Unfortunately it has a definite yellowish tint to it.
I get that that kind of colouring does help to counteract any dark circles. But when I use it on its own or to cover blemishes it just looks a bit too yellowish for me. If this had been the exact same shade at the Skin Tint, this would have been a home run for me. I still like it but I would have loved it if the shade was a better match for my skin tone.

ILIA Beauty Limitless Lash Mascara (£14 - 28)
The Limitless Lash Mascara is a really nice option if you're looking for long, separated lashes. Again, I quite like a more natural looking lash, so I've been really happy with this one. The brush really catches every lash and stops them from clumping. And my lashes don't feel crispy or dry at the end of the day either. Added bonus; it can be removed simply with water, which I was very appreciative of after forgetting to take a cleanser with me on an overnight trip. If you're looking for a clean beauty mascara that lengthens and separates, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

ILIA Beauty Multistick in Dreamer, At Last & All Of Me (£36)
Whether you use the Multisticks on your lips or cheeks, they really do come in a lovely range of shades. I got a few to try out and they add such a natural flush to my cheeks. I probably wouldn't use them on my lips just because I prefer how they look as a blush, especially when I have more than enough dedicated lip products. The consistency is creamy but not so much that it makes it difficult to blend. Personally, At Last is my favourite of the three but they all make very nice additions to my makeup bag.
So, there you have it my thoughts after trying ILIA Beauty for the first time. These products have definitely piqued my interest and got me excited to try out more from the brand. I might just need to grab a few more bits the next time I'm at Space NK.
Have you tried anything from ILIA Beauty before? Or is it on your list of beauty brands to try out? And what is your favourite brand that is stocked in Space NK?
