This year I've discovered so many great beauty products. From some very successful shopping at Space NK, to amassing quite a Rare Beauty collection, I've really honed in on what works for me. However, I do like to switch up my beauty routine over the warmer months. And that's exactly what I've done this summer. Which is why I wanted to share some of my summer beauty favourites from May, June and July this year.
These are the skincare, haircare and makeup products that I have been reaching for the most. And some of them even came on holiday with me to NYC at the end of June/start of July.

So, without further ado, here are my 2023 summer beauty favourites;

COOLA Classic Sunscreen Stick in Tropical Coconut (£23)
After being intrigued by stick SPFs for a while, I finally put this one from COOLA to the test. And it definitely makes reapplying SPF throughout the day so much easier. I would 100% recommend getting a stick foundation to keep in your handbag. This specific one applies nicely, doesn't feel too greasy or oily on the skin. And it hasn't broken me out, which can be an issue for me. Added bonus: this smells so strongly of coconut, in the best way possible. Other SPFs tend to have a hint of coconut-y goodness that makes me think of holidays somewhere sunny. But this smells SO good. My only slight issue is that it's SPF 30 instead of 50. But as I mainly use it to reapply throughout the day after applying 50+ in the morning, it isn't a dealbreaker.
Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream (£23 - 89)
Now, I almost didn't want this to be as good as it is, solely because it is pretty pricey. But I think I may have a new favourite moisturiser. It's incredibly, incredibly hydrating without feeling heavy. And it leaves me with healthy, glowing skin every single time. Like, 'dryness, where are you?' after I apply this. I love using it at night but it works equally as well during the day. It is fragranced, if that's an issue for you and your skin. But that hasn't caused me any issues, thankfully. And it has a lovely scent to it. Bonus points: the packaging is so boujee. And what looks like a decorative flower on top of the pot is actually an adorable little scoop to help you dole out your product each day. Ingenious!

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Magic Hydrator Mist (£35)
If you find yourself getting hot and bothered in the warm weather or simply like the feel of a refreshing facial mist, this new release from Charlotte Tilbury is certainly worth a try. What I really appreciate about it is how fine the mist is. I've tried many in the past that either spurt out or drench you in mist. This one, on the other hand, came all the way to NYC with me. And I was so glad that I brought it with me. If your skin feels tight or dry, or you're dealing with a lot of heat and humidity, it's well worth trying this out. It also smells beautiful and leaves your skin looking super glowy. Let's just say, I never thought that I would pay over £30 for a face mist. But this has convinced me, particularly for the summer months.
Naturium Bio-Lipid Restoring Body Lotion (£16.50)
You have no idea how excited I was when Naturium launched in Space NK earlier in the year. I've tried a few of their shower/body products and they are all excellent. But this body lotion has me applying lotion all the time, something I get pretty lazy about year round. I love that it's unscented so it doesn't interfere with any other products. It's nourishing and sinks into the skin nicely. But what I really adore is the pump bottle. It just makes moisturising so much easier than the tubs I was previously forgetting to use. I have dry skin on my legs and arms and this definitely gives a lovely boost of hydration to both. Perfect for days when you have your legs out or arms exposed over the warmer months.

Rare Beauty Tinted Lip Oil in Hope & Happy (£20)
I must say, when I first tried one of these tinted lip oils on I wasn't blown away. When it is first applied it's a little slippy on the lips for me, if that makes sense. But it does feel nice and hydrating. It was only when I went to remove it that I saw why so many people love them. They leave such a lovely tint to the lips. And the shades that I picked up make my lips look so healthy and plump. The tint lasts a decent amount of time and all of the shades are gorgeous. If you pick this up expecting a lip oil, like I initially did, you may be a little disappointed. But as a tint, these are some of the best that I have ever tried. I just really like how it seriously looks my lips but so much better when I wear these.
Milk Makeup Future Fluid Concealer in 1W (£26)
I do love my Kosas Revealer Concealer. But as soon as I saw how light a shade this Milk Makeup Concealer came in I was sold. It's also insanely pigmented. This is definitely my most full coverage concealer and because of that it really comes in handy when I have any redness or blemishes. The same when my dark under eyes are looking especially pronounced. It's super creamy and blendable. I will say, it is quite tough to work out your shade online. So, if you have a Milk Makeup counter nearby, stop by there first, if you can. I didn't expect to be the lightest shade on this occasion. But one shade darker was a little too much for my under eye area.

Hair by Sam McKnight Dressed To Kill Define & De Frizz Creme (£26)
Finally we have my favourite haircare discovery of the past few months. You already know that I'm a big fan of Hair by Sam McKnight but this creme has quickly become my holy grail from the brand. This is great at smoothing those little baby hairs and the almost halo of frizz that I get around my face. And what I love is that it doesn't make my hair look like it's got lots of product in it. It does exactly what it says on the packaging. It helps define my curls and gets rid of that candyfloss-ish frizz that I get the first day after I wash my hair. Also, like the rest of the range it smells sensational. If you have a Space NK nearby that stocks Hair by Sam McKnight, make a trip there ASAP just to give these products a smell.
Which beauty products have you been loving this summer? Or have you tried any of the products in today's blog post? If so, what do you think of them?
