It's been a little while since I did a beauty favourites roundup. But after visiting the brand new Space NK store at St James Quarter in Edinburgh, where I was basically the human embodiment of the heart eye emoji. I thought that it was about time that I shared some of my makeup, skincare and haircare favourites from Space NK with you.
If you haven't been into a Space NK store recently, I've got a feeling you might be pretty blown away by the range of brands that they now stock. And in particular, iconic US brands that we previously couldn't get in the UK. I used to fill my suitcases with American beauty brands when I went on holiday but as you might remember from my What I Bought In The US On My Recent Trip haul, that doesn't happen anymore.

So let's get onto it, these are some of my recent makeup, skincare and haircare favourites from Space NK.
Makeup
Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation SPF 25 in 100 (£35)
As soon as I saw the Kosas stand in the St James Quarter store I practically squealed with delight. The brand had just launched on the website that week and I was told at the opening, Edinburgh was the first Scottish store to get a Kosas stand. Cue me doing a whole lot of swatching. And even though I only intended to pick up the much-hyped concealer, the foundation also caught my eye. And all I can say is, hello glow! It looks and feels natural on the skin and the shade range is fantastic too. It's also great for drier skin types, like mine. So, don't overlook the foundation if you happen to be considering the concealer, is all I will say.
Kosas Revealer Concealer in 0.5 (£25)
And speaking of the concealer. You may be wondering if it lives up to the hype. Well, it certainly does that and more. You only need a tiny amount, which stops it from feeling heavy or creasing. And it instantly brightens the under-eye area. It also covers up blemishes without looking dry or cakey. It too has an expansive shade range, with the lightest being the perfect colour for me. It turns out TikTok does give some pretty solid advice from time to time.
Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint in Shade 1 (£42)
Even though I now have several favourite foundations, I much prefer a skin tint for everyday wear. And this is a nice, albeit sheerer, option. It's super lightweight on the skin and gives it a dewy appearance. If you're looking for a lot of coverage, you won't find it here. But what it does do is even out my skin tone. My dry skin also really likes how buttery it is. This, plus concealer, is my go-to everyday base right now.
Vieve Lip Dew in Cherub (£17)
Words cannot describe how beautiful this Lip Dew from Vieve is. But I will try my best to. It does come in a few different shades but the pink Cherub is just so pretty. It's almost like a combination of a lip oil and gloss but without any stickiness. It manages to look subtle and natural while also making my lips look super juicy. The applicator is also fantastic. Basically, if you see me, there's a big chance that this will be what I'm wearing on my lips, as I haven't been able to stop reaching for it ever since I got it.
Milk Makeup Sculpt Stick in Toasted (£22)
You may remember that I've been a fan of Milk Makeup for years now, ever since I tried this great gift set from Sephora on a trip to the US. But Milk Makeup have completely relaunched their iconic sticks and added to the line with new Sculpt Sticks. As someone incredibly pale, I do struggle to find contouring products that are cool-toned enough for me. But the lightest shade, Toasted, is such a good tone. It blends out beautifully but still gives you that sculpted look. I'm a big fan!
Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in Smirk (£22)
Now, you can use this on lips and cheeks but I've exclusively been wearing mine on my cheeks and this shade is simply beautiful. Pinks look a bit too garish on my fair skin and normally peachy colours don't do much for me. But something about this colour works so well for my fair skin, freckles and auburn hair. The stick applicator makes it so easy to use and it definitely gives my skin a healthier look too.
Skincare
Tula Skincare 24-7 Moisture Intense Day & Night Cream (£49)
If you're someone, like me, who needs more of an intense moisturiser, I would recommend checking this one out. Even though it says intense in the name, it's not one of those super thick and heavy creams, which I really appreciate. It keeps my skin hydrated and nourished without simply sitting on the skin. Use it day or night, or both. It also has such a creamy texture. I actually originally discovered this through a sample that I received with an order but I will certainly be checking out more from the Tula range the next time that I'm in store.
Tatcha The Rice Wash (£41)
Who else was so excited when Tatcha launched in the UK? I easily could have bought the entire range, even if my bank balance wouldn't have been too happy. Again, if you have dry or irritable skin, this incredibly gentle cleanser is well worth spending that bit more on it. A little goes a long way and my skin feels really clean and smooth after I use this. There's also a slightly exfoliating property to it too, which is brilliant. I've switched to just washing my face in the evenings, with this and have found that my skin much prefers that and doesn't feel as stripped as it was previously, as a result.
Drunk Elephant Bouncy Brightfacial (£60)
You know I love a good Drunk Elephant product, so I was very excited when I heard that they were releasing a brightening mask. This is designed for those with uneven texture (me!), as well as blemishes and discolouration. It's a lovely and creamy consistency and has certainly helped smooth my skin, while leaving it super soft. It is a little bit strong, if you have overly sensitive skin. But after a few uses my skin seemed to get used to it. Just remember to follow it up with a moisturiser if you have sensitive or dry/dehydrated skin.
Haircare
Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Cooling Hydration Scalp Mask (£30)
I'm always on the lookout for products to help my itchy, dry scalp. So when I spotted this scalp mask from Briogeo in the store I was immediately intrigued. And when I say that this lives up to its name, it truly cools and soothes irritated scalps. It washes out easily, unlike some other masks that I have used. I've also noticed that my hair can go a day or two longer between washes after I use this, which is a serious bonus. I definitely need to try out the accompanying shampoo and conditioner next, I think.
JVN Hair Complete Nourishing Shine Drops (£21)
I've really liked everything that I've tried from JVN Hair so far (the Air Dry Creme is fantastic). If your hair is looking a little lacklustre or dry, you need to try these shine drops out. They instantly make my hair look so much silkier, while getting rid of any frizz or candy floss-ish texture at the same time. You only need a few drops and it doesn't feel like you've got lots of product in your hair either. As I say, if you have really dry, frazzled hair, give these drops a try.
Amika Dream Routine Overnight Hydration Treatment (£29)
But if I could only recommend one hair product to you, it would be this treatment from Amika. Again, it's ideal for dry hair and allows you to apply this when your hair is damp and then reap all of the benefits when it dries. Waking up with silky smooth defined curls in the morning takes some getting used to, in a good way. It also smells incredible. If you haven't checked out Amika yet, now that we can get it in the UK, this is your excuse to do exactly that.
