If you saw my Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer blog post, you will know that I haven't really been wearing a whole lot of makeup since the pandemic started. But that hasn't stopped me from putting other beauty products to the test. As it's been a little while since I last shared my current beauty favourites, I thought that I would do exactly that today. There's a mix of skincare, haircare, fragrance and makeup, with them all being products well worth trying.

So here they are, my current beauty favourites:
Fenty Skin Cherry Treat Lip Conditioning Oil (£19)
After seeing this all over social media, I had to give into the hype and give it a try. And I can safely say that it lives up to it. First of all, it smells incredible. It's also not too sticky, which is something that immediately puts me off a lip product. It gives such a lovely juicy tint to my lips while having the added benefit of adding some much needed moisture back into them. And this one product inspired me to share all of my recent beauty favourites with you today, it was that impressive.
This has been my go-to lip product over the summer months. And I have a feeling that I will be reaching for it just as much as it starts to get colder and my lips inevitably get drier.
Glow Recipe Strawberry Smooth BHA + AHA Salicylic Serum (£36)
I haven't been trying too much new skincare but as soon as this was released, it sounded right up my street. While I only struggle with the occasional spot or blemish, what really intrigued me about this was its retexturing properties. My biggest skin issue has got to be uneven skin texture, particularly on my forehead and around my nose. And this has really smoothed those areas out since I've started using it.
And as you might be able to imagine, the strawberry scent that it has to it is actually really nice. Strawberry is probably my favourite fruity fragrance so I personally don't mind the beautifully sweet scent. So it is something to bear in mind if you're not a huge fan of fragranced products. But I would still recommend giving this a go, even if that is a bit of a concern for you. I'll definitely be repurchasing this serum when I finish it.
L'Oreal True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum* (£14.99)
As I say, I really haven't been wearing much makeup at all these past few years. But sometimes my complexion does need a bit of evening out. So when I received this tinted serum from L'Oreal I was immediately intrigued. This is particularly great if you suffer from dry or dehydrated skin, as I've yet to try a foundation this lightweight that still gives you coverage.
My skin just looks a lot healthier and more even when I wear this but you can still see my natural skin underneath. You can build up the coverage but I personally like how it applies. If you typically steer away from foundation in favour of concealer, this would be one to try that isn't quite a foundation but isn't a skin tint either.
Pixi Pat Away Concealing Base* (£16)
Before the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer made its way into my life, there was another concealer that had impressed me. And that was this one from Pixi.
This is great if you're looking to cover redness, blemishes or dark circles. Okay, so the shade range could be a bit more expansive. But surprisingly, the lightest shade, Cream, works nicely for me. It lasts pretty much all day and dries to a more matte finish. Definitely one to check out if you like fuller coverage.
JVN Hair Complete Air Dry Cream (£7-21)
As someone with naturally curly hair that can go frizzy if left to its own devices, I'm always on the lookout for hair products to help with that. So when I saw that my fave Jonathan Van Ness was releasing his own haircare line, that included an air dry cream, I was 100% on board. I actually picked up this set to try out the range before committing to the full size. And after only using it a handful of times, I was more than happy to pick up the rather large full size.
This is great if you're trying to cut down on or stop using heat on your hair completely. I apply this once my hair is just beginning to dry, after having a shower. And it has seriously reduced the amount of frizz I was getting when air drying my hair. My curls and waves also look a lot more defined.
Klorane Cupuacu Repairing Mask for Very Dry Hair* (£16.50)
I was very kindly sent out the new Klorane range for very dry hair by Escentual. And this product in particular has become a staple in my haircare routine ever since. If you have really dry, almost candy floss-ish hair, you have simply got to give this nourishing hair mask a try.
Detangling my unruly hair is so much easier after I use this and it, combined with the JVN Hair Complete Air Dry Cream, has just made my hair so much easier to manage. I also like the fact that you can use this as a traditional hair mask, an overnight hair mask or as a finishing treatment. Just make sure to apply it to your lengths and ends so as not to affect your scalp.
Pacifica Lavender Moon Body Wash (£13)
Another incredible smelling product that I recently discovered, this Lavender Moon Body Wash from Pacifica is just too good.
I personally love using this right before bed as, as you might expect, the lavender fragrance is just so calming. But it's not just your run of the mill lavender scent, it also mixes in a floral rose fragrance too. The body wash itself lathers well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. So if you're looking to indulge in a bit of self care when you're doing your everyday routine, this really gives you that spa-like experience even if you're just hopping in for a quick shower.
Coach Wild Rose Eau De Parfum* (£37-72)
If you like fruity floral perfumes, Coach's Wild Rose is one to check out. I've tried one of their perfumes in the past and really liked it but this is on a whole other level. And this is coming from someone who normally steers clear of any rose scents. Wild Rose, on the other hand, is a blend of fruity zestiness and a blend of different florals. It's also the type of perfume that can be worn any season and I can't wait to wear this in the autumn months in particular. It lasts a good number of hours on skin/clothing/hair too.
And can we take a moment to discuss how beautiful the bottle is! The little leather tag and gold C really do marry the iconic Coach handbags with this beautiful perfume.
