This year I decided to do just two Christmas gift guides, dedicated to my favourite things when it comes to Christmas gifting; Christmas beauty gift sets and out of this world palettes, which you'll see next week.
But until then, here are my top 10 Christmas beauty gift sets for makeup, skincare and fragrance fans;
Lush Starbright Gift (£46)
I love Lush all year round but Lush really comes into its own at Christmas. I mean, two words; SNOW FAIRY! If you didn't catch my Instagram Stories (you can follow me here) from the Christmas sneak peek. There are so many amazing products to pick up this year!
This gift set comes packed full of some of my absolute favourites, like all things Snow Fairy. As well as the Twilight and Shoot For The Stars bath bombs. It also includes two new products for 2019; the insanely tasty Galaxy Lip Scrub (you simply have to give your lips a lick when you've got this on) and Let It Snow Shimmer Bar. And would you look at that tin! I always keep and reuse my Lush Christmas gift set tins. And it saves you even thinking about using any or more wrapping paper.
Fenty Beauty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Collection (£32)
One gift set that I had to rush out and buy, just to make sure that I didn't miss out on it, was this one from Fenty Beauty. It's easily one of the best Christmas beauty gift sets this year.
I'm a huge fan of the OG Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y. So to try four more shades which are completely brand new and exclusive to this set, made it a no brainer for me.
Plus, I don't think that I've ever finished a full size lip gloss. And these little ones aren't too much smaller than the normal sized ones. And how great are the four new limited edition shades?! I am obsessed with the iridescent opal shade Confetti and who doesn't want to try the shimmery brown Hot Chocolit?! The packaging is also stunning too.
Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party (£55)
Too Faced always hit it out of the park with their holiday collection and this year is no different. Last year I was in America when it launched and seeing it in Sephora had me with a wishlist as long as my arm. It's great to now see more Too Faced counters here in the UK at Debenhams, along with online at Look Fantastic, Cult Beauty, ASOS and now Boots.
The Christmas Cookie House Party comes with three separate palettes and mini versions of the iconic Better Than Sex Mascara, a limited edition Melted Matte Lipstick in Gingerbread Man and Shadow Insurance Primer.
I mean, how gorgeous do all of the shades look? Who wouldn't want to find this sitting under their Christmas tree this year?!
Charlotte Tilbury 3rd Edition Magic Mini Brush Set (£35)
Charlotte Tilbury's gift shop is always out of this world. And I could have easily featured several of her gift sets in this gift guide. It's a bit of a three way tie for me this year, with the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Dreams Skincare Set (£75) quite literally being the stuff that dreams are made of. Then you have a great stocking filler or beauty bargain in the form of Charlotte Tilbury The Gift Of Pillow Talk Lips (£25).
But my top pick has to be the 3rd Edition Magic Mini Brush Set. First of all, it looks spectacular and would make any makeup lover's heart skip a beat. The travel sizes make them so handy to take with you on the go. But they're still big enough to function as proper brushes. Don't you hate it when travel sizes are far too dinky? I'll just be here fawning over the blue velvet pouch for the foreseeable.
Bobbi Brown Hydrate & Glow Skincare Essentials* (£50)
If you haven't tried the Bobbi Brown EXTRA skincare range yet, you are seriously missing out! And this set allows you to try three of my favourite EXTRA products and in limited edition shades, for such a great price.
The EXTRA Moisture Balm in Bare Glow is one of my best beauty discoveries of 2019 and really great for those no makeup makeup days, when you just want something a bit more than bare skin. And the shade in this set, Golden Glow, adds a lovely bronzed look to the skin. The EXTRA Lip Tint in Bare Nude Sparkle has a subtle sparkly shimmer to it, making it perfect for all year round, not just Christmas and New Year. And I am 100% here for having a little travel friendly size of one of my favourite eye creams! It will be so much easier travelling with this instead of my usual glass jar of it.
Kat Von D Crazy For Kittens Favourites Set (£32)
When I was in Debenhams checking out the Too Faced Holiday collection IRL, I found myself wandering over to the Kat Von D counter where this little set immediately caught my eye.
If you've been meaning to add some of Kat's bestselling products to your makeup collection, picking up this specific set would be a great way to do so. I'm a big fan of the Tattoo Liner in Trooper, like so many are and love the Go Big Or Go Home Mascara and Everlasting Liquid Lips too. It also includes a full size Alchemist palette, which would work so well for any New Year's Eve party makeup looks. Plus, who doesn't love owning little minis and travel sizes of some of their favourite products?!
Drunk Elephant The Littles 3.0 (£71)
Speaking of little minis and travel sizes, without a doubt, Drunk Elephant are one of my favourite beauty discoveries of recent years. And I cannot rave about the products that I have tried from them enough. They have some great holiday sets to choose from this year. But if you're not sure where to start, I would point you in the direction of The Littles.
This is actually the US version, which includes the added bonus of an Umbra Tinte but the UK version comes in the exact same packaging (a great little waterproof travel bag) and with the other seven products that feature in this one. Stand outs from the range for me have to be the TLC Framboos, Protini Polypeptide Cream and Virgin Marula Luxury Face Oil. If you have been even considering taking the plunge with Drunk Elephant, do it with this set!
ALGENIST Secrets Of Algae Kit* (£90)
If the person that you're buying for this Christmas is really into their skincare, this set from ALGENIST is so so good! Worth £154, it includes three of their most loved and celebrated products, including the incredible Genius Liquid Collagen.
My Mum (hopefully she doesn't see this blog post before then) will be getting this as one of her presents this year as I know she has been looking to try a new, more advanced anti aging and eye cream. I also love the look of this set and the little multicoloured fish scales/sequins design.
Coach Floral Blush Eau De Parfum Gift Set* (£49)
If you're struggling with what to buy someone this year and don't know what kind of makeup they would wear or what skincare they might need, a fragrance gift set is always a good idea. There are so many to choose from and the value for money is normally pretty unreal.
I first smelt Coach Floral Blush at a PR meeting earlier in the year and it's one of those scents that you can't stop yourself from sniffing again and again. If you or the person you're buying for this year likes fresh or floral fragrances, this is the one for them. The bottle is also super cute and it being a box set like this makes wrapping so much easier. I've also included a few more perfume gift set ideas below for those who prefer different fragrance notes.
This Works With Sleep Comes Beauty (£50)
And last but not least we have a brilliant gift set for those who struggle to switch off at night or get a good sleep. I love the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray all year round but this set gives you Deep Sleep in shower gel, bath soak and candle form as well! And at such a great price, when you consider how much the pillow spray is normally.
I seriously cannot wait to light the Deep Sleep candle and run myself a bath with the bath soak once all the Christmas craziness has died down.
