best glow recipe products for dry skin

It's been a little while since I put an entire brand to the test, it was probably with Biossance and Versed last year. But I finally decided to properly put Glow Recipe to the test. And that's what I've been doing over the past few months. So today I'm sharing what to try from Glow Recipe, particularly if you have dry or dehydrated skin.

I was tempted to finally try their iconic Watermelon Sleeping Mask but I decided to opt for a few products that sounded like they could work for my skin. And after doing quite a bit of research and having a good look through the ratings Cult Beauty, I decided on these four. It just so happened that they all happened to be different shades of pink.

So here's what I thought of four of Glow Recipe's products;

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Hyaluronic Clay Pore-Tight Facial (£36)

So let's start with the one that surprised me the most. Anytime the word clay is mentioned in relation to skincare I can already feel my skin tighten up just from the mention of it. But after reading rave reviews I decided to give it a go. And I am so glad that I did. It doesn't dry your skin out in the slightest or cause it to feel tight or stripped. Instead, it leaves my skin feeling super soft and a lot smoother. I don't really worry about my pores so I can't comment on how much of a difference this has made to mine. But this is simply a must-have in my skincare routine now.

You also get a little sachet of the Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner, which I'd definitely be up for trying the full size of. And of course, like every product from Glow Recipe, it smells absolutely unreal. If fragrance or scented skincare is an issue for you, you may want to consider this. But personally, I adore the fruity fragrances.

Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C + Ferulic Dark Spot Serum (£41)

I've yet to find my dream vitamin C product. I think the fact that products with vitamin C can expire so quickly puts me off, as I'm all about getting the most bang for my buck. But this is a really nice option. One that I've kept using to make sure that I get the most from it.

As the brand name might suggest, this is another glow-getting product. If you have issues with texture, hyperpigmentation or dark spots, this could be the product for you. My uneven texture definitely doesn't look as risen when I use this. It's also not sticky, like other vitamin C serums that I've tried previously. It also doesn't irritate my often sensitive skin either.

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum (£37)

Another absolute favourite of mine, this serum is juicy! It also does exactly what it says on the bottle, it hydrates and plumps the skin. Is it pretty pricey for a hyaluronic acid serum; yes. But do I love it all the same; yes.

It's really lightweight and sinks into the skin without leaving a sticky residue. I've personally been using it at night and my skin feels super soft and plump in the morning.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops (£31)

Did I get drawn to this by seeing it on Instagram and Tik Tok? You bet I did. And if you're looking for that glass skin look, this is certainly something to try out. It really does add such a beautiful but not super shiny, glow to the skin. I've actually abandoned using my much cheaper niacinamide serum because of how much I like this.

And of course, I'm more than a little bit obsessed with the watermelon scent.

So there's what I thought of my first real foray into Glow Recipe. You'll find Glow Recipe exclusively at Cult Beauty here in the UK. And I'm already planning what to try next.

Have you tried Glow Recipe before? If you have, what did you think? And what are some of your favourite hydrating products?
