biossance best products

Back at the start of the year I wrote a blog post about the skincare products that I was excited to try in 2021. And at the top of that list was Biossance's Squalane + Omega Repair Cream. Well, being as impressed as I was with that product as I was, definitely piqued my interest when it came to trying more from the brand. And over the course of 2021 I've had the pleasure of discovering the Biossance best products.

If you suffer from dry or dehydrated skin, like I do, or sensitive skin, Biossance are a brand that needs to be on your radar.

And the exciting news is; Biossance is now available at Space NK. When it comes buying luxury beauty products, I nearly always opt to buy them from Space NK, if I can. Those Ndulge points soon add up and mean that you can take money off future purchases.

So here are my top picks when it comes to the best Biossance products;

Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream (£45)

As mentioned above, this was the one product that started my slight obsession with the clean beauty brand. During the colder months this truly was a godsend of a product. It's rich without being too heavy and it absorbs into the skin beautifully.

Gone was the flaky skin on my forehead and around my nose after just a few days of using this day and night. I also like that it isn't fragranced, like some of my other favourite moisturisers. And it really does have almost instant results on really dehydrated or dry skin.

Biossance Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream (£42)

Over the years I've put many an eye cream to the test and inevitably each and every one irritates my eyes in some way. They either make my eyes stream with water, have them looking and feeling red raw or they make me want to rub my eyes all day/night long. So I couldn't quite believe that I had found one that didn't irritate my eyes in the slightest, that I could also take that bit closer to my lash line. I honestly thought it was a fluke the first night that I applied this eye cream. But it hasn't annoyed my eyes once, in what is now months.

The colour of it also works to brighten the under eye area, which is a nice added bonus. I can see this being the one eye cream that I stick with for years now. It also leaves the eye area feeling hydrated and nourished. If you have sensitive eyes, this is definitely one to try out!

best biossance products

Biossance Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum (£49)

When it comes to seriously making a big impact on uneven skin texture and exfoliating, the next two products used in tandem really are the dream team.

For chemical exfoliation that is incredibly gentle, yet still effective, lactic acid works really well on my skin. And this is such a great overnight treatment. Whether you're new to chemical exfoliation or have sensitive skin, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Using it a few nights a week has made such a difference to the build up of dry skin and uneven texture, primarily on my forehead (aka. my biggest area of concern).

Even though I love a physical exfoliator, with one about to feature in a minute. The uneven texture inevitably comes back and I'm always a bit wary of over-exfoliating with a physical exfoliator. Whereas with this Night Serum, it doesn't strip my skin like a physical exfoliator could. And it stops the texture immediately coming back. Again, like I have been with most of the Biossance products, I could not believe how well this worked.

Biossance Glycolic Renewal Mask (£38)

Looking for exfoliation that doesn't leave your skin feeling parched, particularly if you have dry/dehydrated skin? Well, this is it! Again, I saw so many 5 star reviews online and I can completely concur. It's a mask but also a scrub. A chemical but also a physical exfoliator. It is so many things at once, which I just love! My skin also feels super soft and clean after using this.

It did tingle on my skin the first few times that I used it. But now I've even been leaving it on for that little bit longer and I don't seem to be experiencing any more tingling. It's just something to bear in mind. But honestly, this is even better than the likes of Babyfacial (see my review here), etc for me and my skin. Plus a little goes a long way, which is nice given the price tag. I really do hate when you buy a £40+ face mask only to get a handful of uses out of it. And that certainly isn't the case with this one.

biossance vitamin c rose oil review

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil (£55)

I used to be quite hesitant about applying facial oils and this is even as someone whose skin can be drier than the desert all year round. But normally they really only act as an extra hydration step. This oil packs the added punch of vitamin C. And seriously, the glow that you get from it is pretty unreal.

The oil itself is lightweight whilst also being substantial enough for you to actually feel it before it sinks into the skin. It's also not greasy or oily in the slightest, which is always a feat for a facial oil. My skin feels so well nourished after I use this. And I find that it works best before I apply moisturiser, rather than after. I can also now see why so many people rave about this particular product from the brand.
