The news that many of us skincare obsessives have been waiting for, for years might I add, is finally here! We can now get our hands on the much lauded Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial in the UK. And I, for one, really cannot contain my excitement.
It's the one beauty product that I had been hoping and praying would make its way over from the US. And as someone who is already a big fan of all things Drunk Elephant, I have literally been counting the days until I could get my hands on it.

You honestly have no idea how long I have been waiting to try the T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. Every single time that I entered a Sephora in the US I would find myself at the Drunk Elephant stand with it in my hands. But the $80 price tag, when I had an American mall worth of stores to still shop in always put me off, begrudgingly.
But I am so happy to report that it is 100% worth the £67 price tag here in the UK. And it certainly lives up to the hype.
Now T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial is a serious resurfacing treatment. I'm talking 25% AHA, 2% BHA (T.L.C. Framboos has 12% for comparison). It's definitely the kind of product to work yourself up to, in terms of your skin's tolerance to acids. As if you don't, it could be way too strong for someone who hasn't used chemical exfoliants before.
Does it live up to the hype?
My skin, which can be sensitive at times did react to it the first time that I used it. It definitely tingles and depending on how my skin is that day or week, it can even sting a little. But when the results are as impressive as they are, it is 100% worth it.
I tried it one Sunday evening and then waited two weeks until I used it again, as my skin didn't feel like it needed it the following Sunday.
In terms of consistency, this is a thick, creamy mask that Drunk Elephant recommend following up with their Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, which you get a little mini of when you buy Babyfacial. And I do feel like my skin needs some additional hydration after using the mask, which is to be expected.
But I'm happy to confirm that Babyfacial really does live up to its name. Your skin truly will feel like a baby's after using this.
It is obviously quite pricey but if you're looking for some serious resurfacing and exfoliation, this is the product to pick up.
