Last year I tried several brands and beauty products that were either completely new to the UK or just new to me. And to start off 2021 we have a brand that has long intrigued me and that is Coco & Eve.
So today I'm putting a few of their much hyped hair products to the test.

And here's how I got on with their hair mask and scalp scrub;

Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Hair Masque* (£32.90)
I'll start by saying, I have naturally wavy/curly hair that can often get frizzy, that has also never been dyed.
The first thing that struck me about this mask is the incredible scent of it. I did expect some kind of coconut-ty fragrance but I didn't expect it to be this nice.
My hair does feel so soft after using this. I mean, possibly the softest it has ever felt after using a product like this. But because of this, it almost left my hair feeling like candy floss, which if anything made my frizziness more pronounced. I had to use other products to calm the frizz, which kind of defeated the purpose of using this mask. And I think if you had seriously damaged hair, you might need something a bit more tailored to that need instead of this.
It is a nice treat for my hair and the brush that comes with it is great, as is the scent, obviously. But I wasn't as blown away as I was hoping to be and it is pretty pricey too.

Coco & Eve Deep Clean Scalp Scrub* (£33.90)
Next up we have the Deep Clean Scalp Scrub. I decided to test this out on its own, on a day separate to the mask, to see how both performed on their own.
Now this, on the other hand, was such a welcome surprise.
I've tried quite a few scalp scrubs over the years, to varying levels of success. And this is one of the best that I've tried so far.
It has the exact same dreamy coconut fragrance to it but with a peppermint kick and my scalp honestly breathed a sigh of relief after using it. My scalp felt much less itchy as the days went on and there was noticeably less greasiness on day two, three or even four after washing my hair.
It is again, a little pricey compared to other scalp scrubs. But this is much more worth the price tag than the mask, for me.

If you are looking to get Coco & Eve products for a slightly cheaper price, they do actually have lots of great bundles on their site. So, for example, their Healthy Hair Bundle includes both the masque and the scrub for £54.90 instead of £68.80.
They even have bundles that include their microfibre hair towel wrap or minis of their bestsellers, as well.
Along with their own site, you'll find Coco & Eve at Beauty Bay and ASOS.
Have you tried anything from Coco & Eve before? If so, what did you think? And which beauty brands or products always catch your eye when you're browsing social media?
