charlotte tilbury super radiance resurfacing facial

If you've been reading Ellis Tuesday for a while now you will know that I struggle with dry/dehydrated skin and uneven skin texture. And over the years I've put countless products to the test, from physical to chemical exfoliators, peels and scrubs. A few have been standouts, a few have been far too strong for my sometimes sensitive skin. But finally I've found one that pretty much does it all and leaves my skin so smooth. And that is the Charlotte Tilbury Super Radiance Resurfacing Facial.

If you've not tried Charlotte Tilbury's skincare range, this time of year is the perfect time to do so thanks to her incredible holiday gift sets. But the Charlotte Tilbury Super Radiance Resurfacing Facial really intrigued me. And I was right to be attracted to this product.

Firstly, the Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial was just way too strong for my skin. However, the mixture of glycolic and saliclyic acid in this is much more forgiving on more sensitive skin types. I experienced zero irritation or redness with this, maybe because I shocked my skin so much with Babyfacial. But if you've never used a chemical exfoliator like this one before, building up to the recommended ten minute wear time may be your best bet to avoid any tingling or stinging sensations.

I truly was amazed at how instantly this works. As soon as I rinsed my very first application of this product off, I could not believe how good my skin felt. It really did feel like I'd been for a proper facial and not just popped on this product for ten minutes before bed.

My skin really feels so much smoother and any dead skin/uneven texture disappears. It also leaves the skin feeling hydrated, instead of stripped. Which is a big bonus when it comes to chemical exfoliants. The same can be said for it not feeling sticky or tacky either. I also like that it's a lightweight almost gel-like texture, instead of a thick mask or cream. And the addition of a mini Magic Serum in the box is a nice touch too.

My skin looks glowing and is super, super soft whenever I use this. Basically, if you're looking for a facial in a tube, this is the product to buy!

The Charlotte Tilbury Super Radiance Resurfacing Facial is £52 and available from Space NK, Cult Beauty, Feelunique and the Charlotte Tilbury website.
