thank you farmer sun project water sun cream spf50

A few weeks ago I shared my blog post on all things Sun Bum. But this summer there has only been one facial SPF that I have been reaching for each and every day. And that is the Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream SPF50. You might have seen that I picked it up back in January and I have been besotted with it ever since.

So let's see exactly why that has been the case;

SHOP THE POST

Thank You Farmer are a South Korean skincare brand that I stumbled upon on Cult Beauty when I was searching for a new facial SPF to try. The one hundred or so 5 star reviews certainly swayed me into giving it a try. And I am so glad that they did.

The pros

First of all, this is the only facial SPF that has not broken me out in angry spots EVER! Normally my skin takes a while to get used to wearing an SPF. Which is pretty annoying when you consider how crucial having one in your skincare routine is. I honestly couldn't believe it when I was several days into wearing this and spots still hadn't sprouted up. That in and of itself was enough to cement this as the best best facial SPF that I have ever tried. Plus the £18 price tag is rather reasonable too, given that I've paid upwards of £30, £40 and £50 for SPF before.

It is really hydrating on my dry/dehydrated skin without feeling greasy or heavy in the slightest. And my skin actually looks glowy and surprisingly healthy looking when I wear this. Which is perfect for those days when you're going sans makeup (aka all of lockdown for me).

I experience no white cast with this at all and it doesn't pill or peel off as the day progresses either.

The one (possible) con

It is quite fragranced but it's not your typical SPF scent. It's more perfumed, in a good way. But it could be quite strong if you're used to using unscented sunscreen. I personally don't mind it, given how much I adore the formulation and high factor protection.

thank you farmer spf

I've definitely now found my ride or die facial SPF.

What's your go-to facial SPF? Have you heard of Thank You Farmer before? And what has been your best Cult Beauty discovery?
