This month I've spent most of my free time watching TV and I have absolutely no regrets. I've discovered some fantastic new shows and said farewell to one of my all time favourites. And today I'm sharing my top picks when it comes to the best TV shows to stream right now on the likes of Netflix, NOW TV and hayu. And here they are;
Get Organized With The Home Edit
Given all that's going on in the world right now, this is exactly the kind of show to take your mind off all that. And, if you're anything like me, you'll be looking forward to being at home solely so you can completely reorganise it from top to bottom. It's just such a feel good and entertaining show. And I now have a million and one different ideas for how to organise everything from my wardrobe to my bookshelves and kitchen drawers.
Each episode is split, with half being dedicated to a celebrity client. And the other half showing members of the public who are struggling with particular spaces. With celebrity clients like Reese Witherspoon, Khloe Kardashian, Eva Longoria and Retta, getting a peek into their homes is super satisfying. As is the end result of each and every project. Trust me, you'll be wishing we had The Container Store here in the UK. However, great news; The Home Edit have actually released a curated acrylic storage range at John Lewis, if you're as obsessed as I am. I've also added the accompanying book by The Home Edit to my Christmas list. It's safe to say that I'm a fan!

I'll Be Gone In The Dark
I've spoken about the Golden State Killer case/documentary and my fascination with true crime on the blog before. But this HBO produced series based on the book of the same name by Michelle McNamara, the person who coined the GSK moniker, is easily one of the best true crime documentaries that I've seen. Whether you've heard of the case or not or are/aren't also into all things true crime, I would definitely recommend giving this six episode series a watch.
I'll Be Gone In The Dark expertly combines the modern day hunt going on for the Golden State Killer with Michelle's personal life and story. We see how Michelle shone light on a case that could have quite easily remained in the 1970s and 80s had it not been for Michelle's dogged pursuit of this serial rapist, killer and burglar. Michelle's own story, which is woven into the documentary so well, is heart breaking. Particularly when you realise that the man responsible was caught less than two years after Michelle passed away. I'll Be Gone In The Dark is available here in the UK on Sky Crime/NOW TV.

How To Get Away With Murder
How To Get Away With Murder has been one of my very favourite TV shows for years now. I always looked forward to the latest season airing in the UK. Even if it did sometimes take years, compared to when it aired in the US. And this month the very last episode of the final season aired here in the UK on Sky Witness. And I've got to admit, I was happy with how it ended. Even if there were so many different story lines to try to keep track of as everything was wrapped up.
I don't want to spoil it, if you haven't seen it already. But I was shook quite a few times over the course of the final season. And there were definitely more than a few jaw dropping moments. Not all is as it seems with the main foreshadowed death of the season either. If you haven't seen How To Get Away With Murder yet, I cannot recommend it highly enough. And Netflix currently have the first five seasons (surely the final season will be added soon) for you to catch up. I can still remember watching the first season (when my main man Frank wore suits instead of leather jackets and the Keating 5 was still intact). And it really did keep me so enthralled over all of the seasons.

Below Deck: Mediterranean
If you saw last month's What I've Been Watching blog post, you will know just how quickly I became completely obsessed with Below Deck. I also mentioned that it was only a matter of time before I signed up to hayu to watch more. And between now and then, I won a six month subscription to hayu, which I've already been putting to good use. So much so that the next three shows in today's blog post are all brilliant hayu finds. But let's get back to Below Deck: Mediterranean.
Chef Ben from Below Deck is the only crew member who's made the journey over to the Med, for the first season anyway. But you soon get to know the new crew. And again, I just had to binge watch it, it was that addictive. There might even be more drama than the original Below Deck, which I am 100% here for. So far I've watched one season of Below Deck: Med. And I can't wait to catch up with the following four seasons. It really is guilty pleasure reality TV at its best.

Listing Impossible
If you've been looking for something similar to my other reality TV favourite Selling Sunset, I would definitely recommend checking out Listing Impossible. It follows luxury realtor Aaron Kirman (who has sold over $5 billion worth of homes) and his team of employees as they attempt to sell impossible listings, as the name would denote. These are multi-million dollar properties that have been sitting on the market for anywhere from 300-1500 days.
And it is crazy what a difference Aaron and his team can make. They take staging a property to a whole new level. And it's just a little bit mind blowing seeing some of the prices that the houses eventually go for. I thought they were selling expensive listings on Selling Sunset. But the ones on Listing Impossible blow most of those out of the water. I also love that Aaron says it exactly like it is. Particularly as most of the sellers are people who have never heard the word 'no'. There's drama but not quite to the levels that there are in Selling Sunset. But it is still a really enjoyable show to watch.

Project Runway
I've been a fan of Project Runway since the very beginning. But it has been quite tricky to keep up to date with it here in the UK. So much so that I thought I would never see the revamped Project Runway with Karlie Kloss as host and Christian Siriano as their mentor. But hayu has brought it back into my life with a bang. And I have to say, I am loving the revamped take on it. So much so that I even prefer it to Heidi and Tim's new venture Making The Cut (see my review of that here).
hayu currently has the two latest seasons of the new Project Runway and it just feels a hell of a lot fresher than it did when Tim and Heidi departed. Christian actually gives the designers brilliant advice and mentoring and the challenges have been stepped up a notch too. If you enjoyed the original show or the likes of Making The Cut or Next In Fashion (see my review here), I would definitely recommend giving the new take on Project Runway a try. And if you couldn't already guess, hayu is well worth the £4.99 a month subscription!
