One of my best performing blog posts, all these years later, is my Ten Bobbi Brown Products That You Need To Know About post. So I thought that I would share some more of my favourite brands and the best products to buy from them. Which is what inspired today's look into the best Glossier products.
If you've been reading Ellis Tuesday for a while, you will have seen Glossier feature a number of times. I made my very first big Glossier order back in 2017, right after they launched in the UK. I've visited both the original showroom and the new flagship store in New York. And there are some products that I've continued to use and repurchase. And those are the ones that I'll be sharing in today's blog post.

Here are the Glossier products that I will always recommend and have continued to repurchase;
Glossier You (£45)
Now I know that it's difficult to buy perfume online, particularly when you haven't been able to smell it in person first. But trust me, this is a perfume that you simply need to try out! Despite lusting after it for quite some time, it took visiting the New York flagship store for me to finally purchase it. I always find it tricky to describe a fragrance, especially one like this that can smell so different on different people. But I would say that it's a warm, powdery and somewhat spicy scent. And it's easily in my top three fragrances of all time, along with Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream and Daisy Eau So Sweet.
If you're placing an order of, say some of the other things on this list, you should be able to add a sample of You to your order when you check out. Honestly, I cannot rave about this perfume enough!
Glossier Generation G Lipstick (£14)
This is my go-to easy to wear lipstick, that gives me that bitten lip look. I've not tried any of the other colours, even though I've heard good things about them all. But Crush is the most beautiful berry shade. And the fact that it's not matte or glossy, makes it my favourite everyday lip product.
Glossier Boybrow (£14)
There's a reason that this remains one of Glossier's top selling products. If, when you think of brow gel, you think crispiness or unnatural looking shades. This is the total opposite of that. It makes doing or setting your brow so quick and easy.
My only gripe would be that all these years later, we still don't have a redhead or auburn shade. Having one would easily cut out another step in my daily makeup routine.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser (£8-£15)
If you're looking for a really quick and easy to use cleanser that doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or dry afterward. Let me introduce you to Milky Jelly Cleanser. As the name denotes, it shifts from a jelly texture to a milky one and leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean. So many people rave about it. And for good reason.
I also really appreciate the fact that Glossier now do a travel size of this, plus you can add it as a sample when checking out too.
Glossier Balm Dotcom (£10)
For me, when I think of Glossier, I instantly think of their iconic Balm Dotcoms. There are now eight different flavours, which vary from the clear Original to tinted and shimmery. My absolute favourite, however, has got to be Birthday.
Not only does it smell good enough to eat, but it leaves your lips with the subtlest shimmer. The Balm Dotcoms are that good that you'll actually want to apply lip balm. Which is a big thing for someone like me, who often forgets or is too lazy to.
Glossier Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow (£15)
If you've been reading Ellis Tuesday for a while, you might remember my dedicated review to Glossier's Lidstars back in 2018. And since then I've added two new shades to my collection.
If you like natural looking but subtle shimmer, when it comes to your eyeshadow. You simply have to try these! There are six shades to choose from. But my favourites have got to be Slip, Cub and Lily. Now, you're not going to be getting crazy pigment with these. But rather a wash of shimmer, that you can apply in seconds thanks to the applicator. I'm quite tempted to try the newer matte Skywash shadows now too.
Glossier Futuredew (£23)
A recent discovery, Futuredew is all about natural glow. Now it's not quite makeup but it's not simply skincare either. It's almost a combination of both.
What I love about this; it doesn't make your skin look overly oily or greasy. It just gives the skin this luminous quality to it.
So those are the best Glossier products that I immediately recommend to anyone. There's also the bonus that most of these products come in sets, which save you up to £16 compared to purchasing them separately.
