mothers day gift ideas st enoch

Mother's Day is just a fortnight away. So, if you've not made a start to your shopping yet or your mum is notoriously tricky to buy for, I've put together my top ten Mother's Day gift ideas from St. Enoch Centre in Glasgow, taking into consideration some of my favourite and go-to stores.

From beauty and books to fashion, homeware and some sweet treats, these have got to be my top picks this year.

LED Table Lamp from Søstrene Grene

What might just be my favourite shop in all of St. Enoch Centre, Søstrene Grene has lots of great gift ideas all year round. I've actually done a Reel over on my Instagram showcasing quite a few gift ideas from here. But if I had to just pick one, it would be this LED Table Lamp. I was stunned when I spotted that it was just £12.88. I would have easily expected to pay at least £40 for it elsewhere. They also have a wonderful array of prints with frames, stationery and some of the best sweets, teas and hot chocolates. Honestly, if you've not been to Søstrene Grene in a while, let this be your excuse to visit ASAP.

Brown Strap-Detail Tote Bag from H&M

Is it me, or does this tote bag from H&M look so much more expensive than its price tag? Whether your mum needs a new work bag or her everyday handbag could do with an upgrade, this one comes in a sumptuously rich brown hue and a classic black. It's giving serious designer vibes on a budget.

Floral Print Quilted Reversible Printed Jacket from Next

How great is this reversible printed jacket from Next? Perfect for spring and essentially giving her two great quilted jackets for the price of one, one side has a beautiful and very on-trend gingham, while the other is a fun and colourful floral print. I saw it in person while visiting St. Enoch Centre and the quality is fantastic, as you might expect from Next. It also stood out in the very best way. Plus, it's available in a range of sizes, including petite.

White Pearlised Flower Teardrop Gold Earrings from Lovisa

There's almost too much choice when you step into Lovisa. From rings and earrings to bracelets, necklaces, hair accessories and jewellery boxes, it's a dream for anyone who is a bit of a magpie, like me and my mum are. But if I had to pick just one piece for her, it would be these lovely pearlised flower earrings. And at just £7, what a bargain!

A Moment Of Calm Gift Set from The Body Shop

You can put together your own gift set at The Body Shop, but I really like this A Moment Of Calm collection. Featuring travel sizes of the Shea Body Butter, Shower Cream and Soap, alongside Mango Hand Balm and Lip Butter, it all comes wrapped in a gift box, making wrapping it that much easier. And it's such a nice way to try out a few different products to see if she likes them before buying bigger sizes, or maybe it's the perfect way to stock her up for her travels. Either way, this gift set is a winner in my eyes.

With Love Mother's Day Beauty Box from Boots

Speaking of incredible gift sets, this Boots With Love Mother's Day Beauty Box is such great value for money. With a value of over £220, for just £55, it includes an array of skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance and more from brands such as Liz Earle, Bobbi Brown, Grown Alchemist and NEOM, with nine of the fifteen products being full sizes. This would be such a lovely way for your mum to try some new products or to be reaquainted with firm favourites. It also comes in a lovely gift box, too.

Capri Glow Signature Large Jar Candle from Yankee Candle

Part of their new Hello Italy! range, I have not been able to get enough of the Capri Glow fragrance from Yankee Candle. Of course, there are so many scents to choose from in the Yankee Candle store that you should be able to find something perfect for your mum. However, I would definitely recommend this lovely blend of sun-kissed amber, frangipani blossoms and a splash of citrus zest.

The 3 for £6 deal from The Works

My mum is a crime and thriller kind of reader, but the great thing about The Works' 3 for £6 deal is the sheer variety of books and genres that it includes. There are also some big name authors as well as new ones to discover and both me and my mum find it difficult to pass by The Works without leaving with at least three books from the deal between us. Some of my top picks would have to be the ones that I've pictured, but there's always a great new story to discover.

Mother's Day Patisserie Sleekster from Hotel Chocolat

You really can't go wrong with a box of Hotel Chocolat chocolates and this particular box features a collection of 27 chocolates, inspired by some of the best desserts. From tarts to macarons and brownies, these are a real treat.

I Love Mum White Chocolate Cookie from Millie's

And last but not least, imagine how thrilled ant mum would be to receive this wonderful cookie from Millie's, especially if she has a sweet tooth. I know my mum would love the white chocolate version, but it also comes in a double chocolate variety, as well.

If you're local to Glasgow or have visited before, what is your favourite store or stores in St. Enoch Centre? And what do you think of my picks?
