I look forward to putting together my Christmas gift guides every year. And with freelancing at the likes of House Beautiful, Country Living and Prima, I've also been working on lots of fantastic gift guides across homes and interiors, beauty, books and more.
So, this year I thought I would put together a bumper Christmas gift guide, with sections dedicated to beauty, home, style, bookish gifts and stocking fillers/Secret Santa.
From skincare gift sets and the perfect present ideas for book lovers, to stylish accessories and home decor, you'll be able to click right through to each of my gift ideas below. And all of the items that I've selected are either some of my everyday essentials and best discoveries, or items that are high on my Christmas wish list this year. Hopefully there's plenty of inspiration.
Beauty
Whether you're treating yourself or shopping for someone else, Christmas is the best time to buy anything beauty-related. From perfumes and makeup to skincare and hair products, you can usually save big on some of your favourite products – and get some added extras or travel sizes – for the same price or less than you would usually pay for a particular item. And these are some of the best beauty gifts that you won't want to miss out on.
Home
Homes and interiors are my day job, so I've been able to spot some of the best interior ideas for a whole range of different people and budgets. These are just some of my favourites.
Style
Treating someone to something that they might not buy for themselves, like a cosy new scarf or party-perfect handbag, is another brilliant route to go down. And these are the ideas that really caught my eye.
Book Lovers
It wouldn't be a gift guide from me without something book related. And these are all great gift ideas if you're buying for someone bookish – or treating yourself – in the run up to Christmas. I mean, I honestly don't know what I did before I had this back cushion to make reading in bed so much more comfortable. Plus, you really can't go wrong with something like a Kindle cover or book subscription, depending on how they tend to read. And how fun are these pin badges.
Stocking Fillers/Secret Santa
And last but not least, I wanted to dedicate a section to presents under £15. So, if you've got a tricky Secret Santa this year or are looking for some affordable stocking fillers, look no further.
Which gift or gifts are your favourite? Have you started your Christmas shopping this year? And what's at the top of your Christmas list?
