You really can't go wrong with a pair of slippers and in particular UGG slippers. This pair are absolutely gorgeous and so, so cosy.
Yankee Candle Signature Collection Large Jar in Pink Sands (£29.99)
If your mum is a fan of scented candles, opting for a Yankee Candle is always a great choice. Whether she prefers moral floral fragrances, something that smells good enough to eat or the type of scent that transports you somewhere far away, there are lots of beautiful ones to choose from. I also really appreciate the sleek new redesigned Yankee Candle jars. They just look so chic.
Jimmy Choo Blossom Special Edition (from £43)
Speaking of fragrances, my mum has just recently finished her go-to Estee Lauder White Linen perfume. So it made perfect sense to get her something to replace it. Especially when she has mentioned wanting to see what else was out there perfume-wise. I have a feeling that a new perfume would be a lovely gift idea for basically every mum out there. You could even do some covert snooping to see what kinds of scents she typically gravitates towards. Or get her a voucher for the likes of Boots or Superdrug to pick her own. I personally can't get enough of Jimmy Choo's Special Edition Blossom perfume this spring.
Silke London Silke Hair Wrap in Mila (£50)
My Mum started using a silk pillowcase a few years ago and has never looked back. So when I spotted this silk hair wrap from Silke London, I just knew that she would love it. Not only does it allow you to keep all of your curls nestled safely within it. But it actually extends time between washes or blow dries because it is protected within. If your mum struggles with frizzy or damaged hair, or wants to look after her curls or waves, this would such a fantastic gift. It's also available in a range of beautiful colours.
Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Large Gift Set (£53.50)
Another fail-safe option is skincare. My mum has been keen to try Rituals for quite some time now and buying a gift set like this one allows you to save some money, compared to buying everything separately. It also allows her to try out several different products at once. I know that she was drawn to the Sakura scent when we last had a look in our local Rituals store, so this gift set was a no brainer.

Books are a great Mother's Day gift idea, especially if you know the kinds of authors or books that she enjoys. Here are just a few of the books that I have a feeling will be a big hit with mums. From lovely romcoms to non fiction, a cosy detective story and ones that she simply won't be able to put down.
