When it comes to base products such as foundations, concealers and the holy grail that is their Corrector, you really can't beat Bobbi Brown. And as someone with incredibly pale/fair skin, having more than one option when it comes to shades, is what keeps me coming back to Bobbi Brown. So I thought that I would share some of the best base options from them that that you might not have considered.
You'll have seen me rave about their Skin Foundation many times before and I'm also a big fan of their Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser. But I thought that I would share some different textures with you today.

And here are those top picks;

Bobbi Brown EXTRA Illuminating Moisture Balm in Bare Glow (£45)
I cannot rave about this product enough. And much like my beloved Corrector, I don't feel like this gets enough recognition or praise. This is what I've been wearing pretty much all through lockdown, so much so that I'm onto my second bottle.
It gives my skin such a lovely glow and somehow evens out my complexion even though it doesn't have a crazy amount of tint to it. And talk about a multi-tasker. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated, working somewhat as a lightweight moisturiser. It can be applied over foundation or your base, as a highlighter. And it just makes my skin look that much healthier. This was always be part of makeup routine going forward, I can tell you that much.

Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Illuminating Powder in Bare (£43)
If a powder finish is more your thing but you're still all about being subtle and natural with your makeup look, this is definitely a product to try out. This powder gives you that air brushed finish and is brilliant at blurring the skin and reducing any shine.
It's somewhere in between a finishing powder and a powder foundation for me, in terms of coverage. And I've actually been wearing it on top of the next product to add a bit of life back into the skin.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick in Warm Porcelain (£32)
I have tried the Skin Foundation Stick before. But I was so excited to see that they had expanded their shade range even further to add warm, neutral, cool and golden tones. Which is why I opted for Warm Porcelain, having previously used Porcelain. And this shade will be ideal for the warmer months when my skin has that little bit more colour.
I wasn't sure that a stick foundation would work for dry/dehydrated skin but it's so easy to apply and blend. Plus, you can build up the coverage. If you like a full face of makeup or fuller coverage, this is the best base option for you out of the three that I've shared today. But you can also use it even if you're looking for lighter coverage or just to cover up a few imperfections.

Have you tried any of Bobbi Brown's base products? If so, which one is your favourite or what were your thoughts? And what is your go-to foundation or base?
