Every year I share some of my favourite palettes to gift or to treat yourself to in time for party season. And even though there is no party season this year, there were too many exciting palettes not to share them with you today. So here are the best makeup palettes to gift this Christmas;

Whether you're keeping to a strict budget this year or are in the mood to treat yo' self or someone else, every palette is under £50. And two of my favourites are now under £30. So let's get into the gift guide itself;
Urban Decay Stoned Vibes Eyeshadow Palette (£46 - currently £27.60 on Urban Decay's site)
When the Urban Decay Stoned Vibes palette launched, I could not believe how unreal it looked. From the outer cardboard packaging to the shades themselves, my mind was blown. I mean, just look at it!
If the person you're buying for this year, or you are a fan of show stopping eye looks/all of the glitter, this is the palette to go for. I also love that they've included four neutral matte shades in the outer corners so you can do both day and very extra night looks, all from the one palette. This will be great when everything does start to go back to normal and you're going from your desk to somewhere significantly more fun.
Bobbi Brown High Barre Eyeshadow Palette (£49.50)
I'm always a big fan of Bobbi Brown's limited edition palette releases. They tend to have shade combinations that you don't already own or see anywhere else on the makeup scene. And this year's holiday release, the High Barre palette, really does raise the bar. If you'll pardon the pun.
Much like the rest of the palettes that I've featured in today's blog post, this has a great mix of mattes and glittery/shimmery shades, which is great. I don't know about you but I very rarely reach for or buy palettes that are solely one or the other anymore. The High Barre really is the perfect everyday palette that also allows you to go from day to night in a few sweeps of a brush.
Too Faced Enchanted Forest Collection (£38)
I feel like I include Too Faced every single year when it comes to my palettes gift guide. And when you see palettes like this one, it easily becomes apparent why this is the case. This year they've released some brilliant holiday sets with palettes aplenty (you will have already seen one in my The Top 10 Beauty Gift Sets guide on Sunday). But when it comes to their top palette offerings this year, this has got to be my top pick.
There's a fabulous array of eyeshadows, blushers, a highlighter and a bronzer. And this palette, which is packaged up as a beautiful gift set, comes with the added bonus of minis of the iconic Better Than Sex Mascara and a lovely Lip Injection too.
Pixi Golden Goddess Look Palette (£16)
Pixi do some incredible eyeshadow and face palettes, that often get overlooked. And this limited edition holiday palette in the shade Golden Goddess, just goes to prove how good Pixi are at pairing stunning shades.
This eye and cheek palette contains four lovely eyeshadows and two cheek products, all in one dinky little palette. I am more than a little bit obsessed with the glittery gold and soft sandy shade paired together. And at just £16, or even cheaper if you find a discount code, it really is such a bargain.
Charlotte Tilbury Mesmerising Maroon Luxury Palette (£40)
There are now so many different types of eyeshadow palettes to choose from when it comes to Charlotte Tilbury. But the Luxury Palette made up of four shades will forever be my favourite. This limited edition one in the shade Mesmerising Maroon is unlike anything else that I had in my makeup collection, which is why I just had to have it.
The pigmentation is always exactly how I like it and the shadows themselves are buttery and blendable on the lids. I love that this particular palette has three gorgeous shimmery shades and one marvellous marroon matte. I'm quite proud of that alliteration. Like many of the palettes in today's blog post, if you like the look of it be sure to snap it up sooner rather than later, so as not to miss out on a limited edition buy.
