too faced skincare review

If you've been reading blogs over the past few years or like to try out lots of beauty products yourself, you will no doubt have seen or come across the much loved Too Faced Hangover Primer. I've made my way through quite a few minis of it after treating myself to the Too Faced holiday collections, either here or when on holiday in the US.

So when I heard that Too Faced would be adding to their Hangover line with three new skincare products, I was immediately intrigued. And I've been putting them to the test over the past month or so.

So let's see what the new Too Faced Hangover Skincare range comprises of and what I thought;

too faced hangover good in bed serum review

Too Faced Hangover Good In Bed Ultra-Hydrating Replenishing Serum* (£29)

First up we have their ultra-hydrating replenishing serum. What I (and my skin) love about this range is the fact that hydration is at the forefront. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, these could be some great products to add to your routine.

This is designed to give your skin that 'lit from within' look and a real boost of hydration and I've got to admit, it does just that. It does leave the skin feeling slightly tacky after application but after a minute or so this sinks in to leave the skin feeling lovely and soft. It also, like the rest of the range, contains some great hydrating ingredients. With hyaluronic acid, coconut water, dragon fruit and vitamin B5 in this serum, it's easy to see why it's so replenishing for the skin.

too faced moisturizer review

Too Faced Hangover Good To Go SPF 25 Moisturizer* (£29)

If you're looking to try a moisturiser that helps your makeup sit better, this is it! As I have dry patches on my face, any concealer or foundation automatically clings to them. That is, unless I add in the extra step of using a primer beforehand. Now, I only have to apply this one product as it works as both a primer and a moisturiser in one.

The added bonus of it having SPF 25 built in (as someone who is trying to remember to wear it every day), makes this the moisturiser that I have been reaching for every day since opening it. And even though this is designed to prime the skin and make makeup sit better, I also love using it when I'm bare faced as it's not greasy or sticky in the slightest. This is definitely a product that I will be repurchasing going forward.

too faced setting spray review

Too Faced 3-in-1 Hydrating Primer & Setting Spray* (£26)

Now the original 3-in-1 setting spray has been available for a few years now but I wasn't aware that it was part of the range until now. However, they have released two limited edition scented versions of this very setting spray with peach and watermelon ones available. And if you've ever smelled some of Too Faced's scented products, like their peach or gingerbread collections, you will know just how incredible these will smell. Perfect for any holidays you have planned or the hopefully warm and sunny Summer weather to come *fingers crossed*.

This really is a multi use product that works on all counts. First of all, it's a super fine mist, which applies evenly (something that can't be said for all setting sprays). I love using this throughout the day to refresh my makeup and give my skin a splash of hydration. It also keeps makeup in place all day.

So there you have it. I can easily add Too Faced to my list of makeup brands that do great skincare products too.

too faced skin care line

And this month (whilst I've been writing up this blog post) they've added to the Hangover skincare range here in the UK, with a Cleanser, Pillow Cream and Lip Balm, now making up the range. I might just have to spend some of my Boots points, that I've been hoarding for a while, on these new additions.

Are you a fan of Too Faced? Do you ever buy skincare products from what most people would think of as makeup brands? And do any of these products sound like ones that you would like to try?
