Over the past decade or so my style has really evolved. Whether that be what I wear, the makeup that I use or the perfume that I apply. And one of the easiest ways to get ready in the morning or for a special event is to be a little more French. And what I mean by that is interpreting Parisian style. Whether that be with clean monochrome lines, classic stripes, a pop of red or straight leg jeans, you instantly look well put together. And to make an even greater impact, I carry that French look into my makeup and fragrance as well. With perfumes like John Paul Gaultier Scandal and a bold red lip.
So here is how I add a French touch to my look;

Fashion
In the Winter months I find it really easy to 'frenchify' my look. All it takes is me popping on a beret or a long sleeve Breton stripe to instantly look and feel that bit more Parisian. But it can be a little trickier in the Spring/Summer months, particularly when the weather can change in the blink of an eye but certainly not impossible.
When I think of French style a few classic staples immediately spring to mind. But chic monochromatic tailoring has to be one of my favourite ways to interpret the trend, case in point this gingham two piece suit.

Investing in a piece that can be dressed up or down, makes getting dressed so much easier in the morning. I love that I can wear the pieces together to make a real style statement or separately. Pair them with a t-shirt and trainers for everyday dressing or team them with high heels and a simple camisole top to dress it up for nighttime.

Add a pair of cat eye sunglasses to add an extra touch of French style to any look.
Makeup
You simply can't go wrong with a classic red lip. Whether you're dressing up a basic daytime look or going all out for a special occasion, it adds a touch of elegance and style to any outfit.

Fragrance
Scandal, the Jean Paul Gaultier Perfume, completes my French look with a couple of spritzes. With its sweet honey notes and strong staying power, it's the kind of fragrance that can also easily take you from day to night.
And how gorgeous is the bottle and packaging?!
What would you do to add a French touch to your look?

This post is an advertised collaboration with Boots but all thoughts are my own.
