When I was given the incredible opportunity to try out this month's Degustabox, I didn't need to think twice about saying yes. A box filled with fantastic food offerings, delivered straight to my door; I was already sold. Unlike the frankly disappointing beauty boxes that I've signed up for (and then quickly cancelled). The Degustabox is a whole different story and takes subscription boxes to another level.
The premise is simple; sign up for only £12.99 a month (including delivery), which you are free to cancel at any point. And receive a surprise Degustabox delivered to your door each month. This surprise box will comprise of nine to fourteen products. Many of which are completely brand new to the market, all of which add up to more than the £12.99 monthly subscription fee.
I also have an exclusive discount code to share with you. If you like the look of what you see in this post and feel like signing up for your own Degustabox. Then all you have to do is enter the code EllisTuesdays to receive £3 off when you register.
So here's what I received in my very first Degustabox:
Brioche Pasquier Pains au lait and Croissants au Beurre
Dr. Oetker Edible Wafer Cupcake Cases
Mexican Dave's Legendary Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips
Schwartz Spanish Smoked Paprika Chicken and Mexican Fajitas Flavour Shots
Lindt Hello Milk Hearts
Berry White Peach & Goji Berry Organic Drink (could this possibly be a play on Barry White? Hehe)
Caribbean Twist Cocktails Strawberry Daiquiri
Fever Tree Tonic Water and Ginger Beer
Cawston Press Kids' Blend Apple & Pear Pressed Fruit
Recipe Card and Moma! coupon (This coupon can be taken to your local supermarket to redeem a Bircher Muesli multipack from the fridge)
Now how incredible is the variety of products included in the August Degustabox? Me and my family have already made a start on devouring the entirety of this box. And that's what's really great about about the selection of products that you can expect to find in your monthly Degustabox; there truly is something for everyone. I've already got my eye on the ingenious Dr. Oetker Edible Cupcake Cases (Great British Bake Off eat your heart out). My Mum can't wait to create some tasty dishes with the Schwartz Flavour Shots.
My Dad has tried the scrumptious Fever Tree Ginger Beer, which he has given his discerning seal of approval (hehe) and my brother (who is the most health conscious out of the four of us) has the Berry White and Cawston Press drinks ready to put to the test. We've also planned a few family moments based around the August Degustabox. A breakfast complete with Brioche Pasquier pastries, as well as a family movie night (any suggestions on a movie we will all enjoy?) complete with Mexican Dave's Tortilla Chips, sharing a glass (or two) of Strawberry Daiquiri's with my Mum and of course what's a movie night without chocolates, specifically the wonderful Lindt Hello chocolates (I've already eaten a few and had to stop myself from eating the entire tin in one sitting! Hehe).
So what do you think of the Degustabox idea? Would you sign up for a monthly food subscription box? And what is your favourite product from my first Degustabox?
