autumn/winter wardrobe wish list

Even though autumn is my favourite season, I have to admit, I've been feeling pretty rubbish about my colder weather wardrobe this year. A combination of being tired of wearing the same pieces for at least the last three years and losing a bit of weight during that time has meant that quite a few of my most beloved pieces are rather ill-fitting now. Which is why I think it might be about time that I add some new pieces. And that's what inspired today's autumn/winter wardrobe wish list.

It's been a good few years since I shared a wish list on here. And I've also added three beautiful new pieces to my autumn/winter wardrobe wardrobe already this year. Namely a gorgeous denim jumpsuit from Oliver Bonas, a beautiful new coat from New Look and a stunning oxblood leather handbag from The Cambridge Satchel Company.

WHAT I'VE ADDED SO FAR

But here are just a few more bits that I've found myself drawn to;

New Look Burgundy Knit Crew Neck Jumper (£19.99) - New Look Burgundy Satin Bias Cut Midaxi Skirt (£25.99)

I'm a big fan of the New Look satin bias cut midaxi skirts but sadly my size 10 faves from a few years ago are slightly too loose now. Technically I could just take them in, which I do intend on doing. But what won me over about this burgundy version is the way that it has been styled with the complementary knit on top. Annoyingly my size is currently out of stock online when it comes to the skirt but I'll be heading in-store this weekend to see if I can find it. I just think the similar tones look so chic and put together. What do you think?

New Look Black Leather-Look Western Trousers (£32.99)

Might a pair of faux leather trousers be pushing me a bit out of my comfort zone? 100%. However, I feel like I need some more interesting trouser options. I will always adore my plisse trousers and a classic pair of denims but these look like they will elevate an otherwise simple outfit. If you have a great pair of faux leather trousers, where did you get them from?

Marks & Spencer Cotton Blend Checked Midaxi Waisted Dress (£45)

Much like with the New Look satin skirt, I've been feverishly refreshing the M&S website waiting for this dress to come back into stock in my size. I'm a big fan of gingham all year round, the same with shirring and this just looks like such an easy dress to throw on. The fact that it's got a green tinge to it really makes it stand out from my summery gingham dresses. And it looks like a great length too. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I'm able to snag it in my size.

Oliver Bonas Washed Green Herringbone Jumpsuit (£89.50)

After being as impressed as I was with my denim Oliver Bonas jumpsuit, I've been keeping an eye out for any other new styles and this one immediately caught my eye. As a redhead, I always like the way that I look in green. And I don't actually have any long sleeve jumpsuits, so this could be the perfect piece to take me through autumn and winter this year. It being a one piece also saves me having to worry about which top and bottom to wear, which is always a win in my eyes.

French Connection Fayette Three-in-One Trench Coat (£165)

Okay, so this is definitely an investment piece but I have been in love with it ever since I saw it at French Connection's A/W press day earlier this year. Essentially, you get three outerwear items in one with this trench coat. So, you've got the classic trench. Then there's the sleeveless trench and then you have a cropped trench/jacket too. I just feel like it's the type of item that I would have in my wardrobe for years to come.

SHOP THE POST

So, that's just some of the pieces that have made their way onto my autumn/winter wardrobe wish list.

Have you or are you planning to add some new pieces to your wardrobe this autumn/winter? If so, what are you hoping to pick up? And what do you think of my picks?
