After seeing quite a few people share their take on this trend on social media, I thought that I would do it in the form of a gift guide. And I've even broken it down into beauty, travel, stocking fillers, home and wellness.
Not only are all of the items under £100, but they should hopefully give you some inspiration if you're shopping for someone who seemingly already has everything, or if you might be looking for ideas for your own Christmas list. These are items that I've tried and tested all year long that I cannot recommend highly enough.

SnoozeBand Deluxe Sleep Mask Headphones (£69.99)
As part of my freelance work at The Telegraph, I get to try out and test quite a few products and that has included a number of sleep related items this year. And after testing out over 10 sleep masks, the Snoozeband Deluxe was such a big hit. Coming in a lovely array of colours, they are completely blackout, so no light seeps in. But the big plus is that you can connect it to your phone to listen to your playlists, podcasts or even its built-in white noise to help you drift off. So, you don't end up with sore ears after leaning too hard on one of your in-ear headphones. It also feels so plush and comfortable on your skin and around your head. Let's just say, this quickly became a non negotiable in my bedtime routine this year.
Uniqlo Princesse Tam Tam Flannel Pyjamas (£34.90)
I'm a big fan of the Princesse Tam Tam collections at Uniqlo. In fact, if you ever see me out and about in a pair of gingham trousers, they're actually pyjama bottoms from the Princesse Tam Tam range. And their A/W collection has a lovely pair of flannel gingham pyjamas that I have been living in. They fit well, look stylish and are super cosy without being too warm. Do I buy the yellow pair as well as the black pair?

DUSK Helena Pleated LED Rechargeable Wireless Lamp (£29)
If the person you're shopping for has just moved into a new space or works from home, I think this portable lamp from DUSK is a great choice. Fully wireless and rechargeable, it adds a stylish touch to any room and I love how easily you can move it from room to room. I have it on my desk during the day, before moving it to my bedside table at night and I've even brought it out to the living when I'm reading after the sun has set. And like most things from DUSK, it looks a lot more expensive than it actually is.
Space NK Mykonos Blue Candle (£35)
And I would pair it with one of Space NK's fabulous candles. I've tried two of the scents so far, but they all smell incredible. Yes, Space NK do have a range of festive candles, which I also adore. But these are great all year round, which means the lucky recipient can enjoy them throughout the year instead of only at Christmas. They're also a fraction of the cost of some of the big brand candles, yet they have a powerful scent throw.

Phlur Perfume (from £32)
While on the topic of scents, if you haven't yet given Phlur's perfumes a sniff, use this as your excuse to do exactly that. You'll find the entire range at your local Space NK, with Anthropologie and Selfridges also having a few of the fragrances available to sample. There are so many wonderful scents to choose from, with Strawberry Letter, Rose Whip and Father Figure being personal favourites of mine. However, Cherry Stem has quickly become an absolute go-to. They're really well priced and have a luxurious look and feel to them that anyone would surely appreciate.
Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex Eyeshadow (£21)
When I do wear makeup, something that is becoming more and more of a rarity for me these days, I want it to be quick and easy. And it doesn't get any easier than the Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex Eyeshadow. And they have three stunning new shades for the holiday season. You can either buy them individually, if you have a specific shade in mind. Or why not treat someone, or yourself, to the limited edition three-piece gift set. As someone who isn't particularly skilled at doing eye makeup, these take all the hassle and guesswork out of it and leave you with glittering and glimmering lids every time.

Lululemon Belt Bag (£38)
Now, I do tend to carry quite a lot with me day to day. Yet, on holiday I am a belt bag kind of girl. And the Lululemon is such a great idea if you or the person you're buying for likes to travel. It has enough room to fit your wallet/purse, phone, passport, SPF, lip balm, hand bac and more, and I even managed to slide in my Kindle for reading on the plane and the pool without needing my backpack. Honestly, it's just such a game changer for travel. Plus, there are so many colours to choose from. I'm so happy I managed to snag the polka dot print version earlier in the year.
Thule clean/dirty packing cube (£27.99)
Another travel essential and the reason that I'm now exclusively able to do hand luggage only holidays or fit everything into a single Ryanair-approved backpack; packing cubes. I've actually been using packing cubes for almost a decade now, but these Thule clean/dirty packing cubes take organisation to a whole different level. Having the two sides, whether you're separating your clean and dirty items on your return home, or want to fit all your clothing and different items into one single cube, is honestly game changing. And these ones are such great quality.

Remote Control Page Turner (from £9.99)
Even though I would have loved to add my Kindle into this gift guide, I have already raved about it quite a bit. However, if you have a Kindle or tablet and aren't using a remote control page turner, you are missing out. It gets so chilly in my bedroom that my fingers can almost feel like ice after about half an hour of reading. And there's no way to snugly keep your hand under the duvet or a blanket as you'll need to click through to the next page. Enter a page turner. I can now keep my hands nice and toasty and flip the pages from under my duvet. Honestly, it plus a stand of some kind, and you'll curse yourself for not using one sooner.
Kind Bag Reusable Bag (from £11.95)
More of a stocking filler than a main present, I cannot rave about the Kind Bag reusable bags highly enough. If you know me you've definitely seen me toting my medium gingham one around with me on a daily basis. But they also come in a few different sizes and so many incredible patterns, designs and colourways. This is the kind of gift that will actually get used and again, too. I've personally used mine to carry my shopping, as a beach bag on holiday and to wrap someone's gift in in the past.
What's on your Christmas list this year? And have any of my ideas caught your eye, either to buy for someone or yourself?
