If you saw my 24 Hours In London blog post or accompanying Instagram posts, then you will know that I visited London for the very first time at the start of the month. Other than a little bit of exploring, our main reason for visiting was because me and my Mum won a competition on Instagram to visit Kiehl's' Regent Street store for a skincare overhaul and to try some of the best Kiehl's products. I actually found out that we had won just after Christmas. But we decided to make a little Summer holiday of it by staying overnight. And that's exactly what happened this month.
We had an incredible time in general. But visiting the Kiehl's Regent Street store and being put in the capable hands of Ricky and Paul, was easily the highlight of our trip. Both of us were gifted products to make up our new routine with some of the best Kiehl's products. And I simply had to share the ten new things that I'll be trying from the brand as a result.
SHOP THE POST
So without further adieu, here are 10 of the best Kiehl's products, comprising of skincare, body care and haircare;

Skincare
Kiehl's Centella Sensitive Facial Cleanser (£28)
Up until very recently, I've been using the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser (see my review here) as my main cleanser. But as I will detail further down below, my skin and scalp have taken a turn in recent months. This means that gel based products just aren't cutting it anymore, in terms of hydration.
This cleanser actually feels more like an oil than a traditional cleanser liquid. It also cleanses the skin and removes makeup without stripping the skin. Or making it dryer and tighter than it was beforehand. I think I might have just found my new go-to cleanser.
Kiehl's Ultra Facial Toner (£17)
Despite blogging about beauty, I very very rarely use a toner, if ever. So I was really excited to try one out. Part of their much loved and bestselling Ultra Facial range, this toner is again all about hydrating and comforting the skin. Dry/dehydrated skin was my main concern, when asked what I would most like help with. So most of the routine outlined in today's blog post is tailored specifically to that need.

Kiehl's Hyrdo-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate (£41)
I'd been umming and ahhing about buying this product for a few years now. So to take it home with me was thrilling, to say the least. If you struggle with skin texture issues, dull, tired skin or age related dehydration, you simply have to check this serum out!
Me and my Mum, who have completely opposite skin types to one another, were both prescribed this as part of our routines. And both of us have already seen a big difference to areas in which we apply this in just a few weeks. I now wish that I had treated myself to this product a few years ago when I first saw it. As no doubt my skin would have thanked me for it. This is definitely one of the best Kiehl's products for my skin type.
Kiehl's Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-dermabrasion (£41)
Now if you are looking to take your physical exfoliating to the next level (I'm planning on having a dedicated blog post to this very topic up on the blog soon), this is the product to try out! I was so surprised that I hadn't heard a great deal about this on the beauty scene before. Because it really does work wonders.
If you're a bit hesitant to start integrating acids to exfoliate your skin, adding a physical exfoliator that isn't too tough or abrasive, would be your best bet. You can tailor how much pressure you use on certain areas. This means that you can enhance the treatment in problem areas whilst generally exfoliating the rest of your face, hands or decolletage.

Kiehl's Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream (£52)
Much like with my current cleanser, I tend to opt for gel based moisturisers. Mainly GLAMGLOW's WATERBURST and Clinique's Moisture Surge, as you may have seen in this blog post. But I could feel that I needed something a bit more substantial but not ridiculously thick either. You see my conundrum?

This cream feels really nice on the skin. And the way in which the product is dispensed is also so clever and hygienic. To truly show exactly how it works, please see the below GIF courtesy of the Kiehl's website.
You slide your finger along this bar to release the amount of product that you'd like without having to dip your fingers into the cream itself. I really do appreciate and now prefer using products that work in this way, especially compared to the alternative. And I've definitely enjoyed using something that bit more nourishing for my dry and dehydrated skin.

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado (£26)
A cult favourite and often seen as one of the best Kiehl's products. I was very excited to finally try out Kiehl's holy grail eye cream. And I now fully get why it is such a staple in people's routines. A little truly does go a long way and I love how soothing this feels under the eyes. I would totally categorise this as an entry level eye cream for those of us starting to think about the first signs of aging. I mean, who's seen those 90's memes that let you know that it's about time for an eye cream?
TOP TIP: If your eye cream ever makes your eyes water or feel irritated, it could be that you are applying the product too close to the lash line. I've always thought that my eyes watering instantly meant that I was allergic to or too sensitive for specific products. When in actuality, I'd been applying them too close to my eyes.

Kiehl's Avocado Nourishing Hydration Mask (£36)
One of Kiehl's newest releases, this is one of the creamiest face masks that I have ever tried. I cannot get enough of it! It's a texture unlike anything else and actually reminds me of real smashed avocado. When you first open the jar the formula feels firm. But once applied to the skin and heated up, it transforms into so much avocado goodness. My skin feels really smooth and nourished after using it.

Seriously, you have to get yourself to your local Kiehl's counter simply to give this a try! It's just so creamy and air whipped! I did try to get a photo of the consistency of this on the back of hand. But to say that things got messy would be an understatement. RIP piece of purple paper. Putting it on your face is obviously much more recommended.

Kiehl's Glow Formula Skin Hydrator (£30)
As I don't tend to wear foundation or much makeup at all really on the daily, I was over the moon to receive this product at my consultation. I'd seen it on The Anna Edit's blog and YouTube and always been intrigued by it. It's tinted but in a way that looks totally natural, even on someone as pale as me. It really does give your skin that glowy lit from within look without being too shiny or shimmery.

This is definitely coming with me on my next trip somewhere warm. I don't like to wear foundation on holiday but still need a little touch of something to even out my complexion.

Bodycare
Kiehl's Lavender Gently Exfoliating Body Scrub (£32)
I can be quite lazy when it comes to necessary self care. And exfoliating my body definitely falls into that category. First of all, this scrub smells incredible! It actually reminds me of my favourite Lush Sleepy scent. But the biggest reason that we should all be exfoliating our skin in general is that by removing that build up of dead skin, our products can actually work like they should. By not removing that layer and leaving a clean slate from which to start, we're in turn wasting product and money as it just sits on top.
If lavender isn't your thing, the scrub also comes in coriander or grapefruit versions.

Haircare
Kiehl's Magic Elixir (£30)
Over the past few months my scalp has become really irritated. And I have experienced quite a bit of hair loss, something I'm hoping to dedicate a full blog post to discuss soon. I was eventually referred to a dermatologist where I found out that I have something called seborrheic dermatitis. It can be pretty common and causes a dry, itchy scalp, which can often flake. So I was over the moon to receive Kiehl's Magic Elixir to use in conjunction with my medicated shampoo.

The applicator tip makes scalp application easy to do too.
As my Mum also received her own tailored routine with some of the best Kiehl's products, let me know if you'd like her to share what she was given. As she has a completely different skin type to me. Plus, she is right into sharing snaps on her Instagram, so much so that she's even talked about maybe starting a blog herself one day.

To say that we were absolutely spoiled by the Kiehl's and Regent Street team would be a massive understatement. Let's just say that I am so glad we entered that competition.
Are you a fan of Kiehl's? If so, what are your favourite products? And would you like to see my thoughts on these products a few months down the line?
