Since then there have been quite a few new releases and products that I've discovered, ones that have even ousted my favourites, from that original blog post, out of my makeup bag.

So here are five of the best concealers for pale and fair skin (and formulas that would work well for a whole host of different skin tones and types to be honest);
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly (£24)
After writing my original concealers blog post, a few months later I finally tried this much lauded and celebrated product from NARS and immediately understood why everyone loves it so much.
You can build the coverage, meaning that it's not too thick or too sheer and it doesn't look heavy or cakey on the skin either. It lasts all day and sets well even if you don't set it with powder or bake it. I just recently bought my third tube of the stuff and can see myself buying it again and again in the future, it's just that good!
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer in 110 (£19)
When Fenty Beauty finally arrived in the UK (it's now available at Boots or Harvey Nichols) I was very excited, mainly because of how inclusive and expansive the shade range was. It's that good that I'm not even the lightest shade that they offer, like I always am with other brands and sometimes even the lightest shade can be too dark or orange for me.
The reason why I'm such a big fan of this concealer; it's really creamy and doesn't crease under my eyes. I would, however, recommend going to a Fenty Beauty counter (there are lots popping up at Boots stores around the country and you should be able to find them in Harvey Nichols too) to get shade matched. It can be quite tough to guess what shade you might be simply by looking at a screen or a model. My shade is ideal for cool tones but still light and bright enough to not make me look like a little ghost. Hehe.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Liquid Concealer in 1 Fair (£24)
I personally wasn't the biggest fan of Charlotte's original concealer product, the Retoucher, but I absolutely adore this one. The applicator makes for quick and easy application and the shade matches my Charlotte Tilbury foundations perfectly.
It works well on the under eyes, blemishes and redness but is also buildable and blendable. If you're passing by a Charlotte Tilbury counter anytime soon, I would absolutely have a play with this and ask to be colour matched. I use it all the time.
Makeup Revolution Conceal And Define Concealer in CO.1 (£4)
By far the best budget concealer on the market at the moment, it even featured in its own stand alone review on Ellis Tuesday (find it here) because I had to share my love for it publicly as soon as I tried it. Often seen as a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer but at a fraction of the price, you honestly can't go wrong with this concealer. Even if it doesn't work for you, not that I think won't, it's only £4 and you'll often find it in 3 for 2 and other money saving deals at Superdrug, for example.
The shade range is fantastic (there are 50, yes FIVE ZERO, shades to choose from!) and they even have a true white shade. You've seriously got nothing to lose with this concealer! If you haven't tried it already, why not?!
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Porcelain Bisque (£19.50)
So technically this isn't a concealer but I often wear this on it's own so I just had to include it in today's blog post. I cannot rave about this little gem of a product enough! If you have serious dark circles, discolouration or even fine veins, you need to try this out!
I apply it with my Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Touch Up Brush and it naturally erases all the areas that really bother me, particularly around my under eyes. It then means that you don't need to use as much concealer on top of these areas as they've already been taken care of, which is why I would class it as a concealer as well as a corrector. It's honestly one of those rare miracle products that comes into your life and you had no idea how you lived without it beforehand.
And if I had to pick just one "concealer" to use, either when in a rush or when I'm not in the mood to apply a full face of makeup, it would be the Bobbi Brown Corrector hands down.
