When it comes to beauty boxes I'm always really excited to see exactly what brands and products have been included. And unlike some of the other beauty boxes on the market the Look Fantastic Beauty Box doesn't require a subscription.
This means that if you like what you see in today's review. And the box itself, you can pop it into your Look Fantastic basket without feeling obligated to buy the next one. Although knowing Look Fantastic, I can bet that the next box will be pretty impressive too. Now let's get on to the July box;
What's inside?
As soon as I opened up the box I was over the moon to see a dinky little bottle of Nuxe's Huile Prodigieuse. It's a product that I've wanted to try for a little while now. But I wasn't completely sure if I needed it urgently. So this little mini size is perfect for putting it to the test first.
There were a couple of brands that I know and love. As soon as I saw Monu I knew that I would be on to a winner. As the products that I've been lucky enough to try from them in the past have always been really impressive. This oil is perfect for dehydrated skin like mine. And it just feels so luxurious and silky on the skin. Then I saw Lord & Berry, a brand that I absolutely adore. But sadly the shade is just too dark for my skin to be a nude. And it's not the kind of shade that I would naturally gravitate to.
Then there's Balance Me. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way. But that brand tends to pop up in beauty boxes a bit too often for my liking. I'm all for trying out different products from a brand. But when it appears in essentially every beauty box that I've ever tried. It does begin to feel like a bit much. Am I the only one who thinks this? The product itself, a face wash, is really lovely on the skin. So I guess I can't complain too much, now can I?
Brands that were new to me
Then there were two brands that I hadn't heard a great deal about before; Kebelo and Trilogy. I have to say, I was really excited to see this Clarifying Shampoo from Kebelo, especially as I've actually been meaning to buy a product like this for quite some time. So this was a great addition to the July #LFBeautyBox in my opinion. It's basically a detox for the hair and is meant to be used once or twice a month to rejuvenate it. I can't wait to try this out this upcoming Sunday (aka. my weekly pamper night). And I will be sure to share my thoughts either on here or on social media when I do. Then the Trilogy Everything Balm adds another useful product to my collection. It's a a great multi-purpose balm which has already made it's way into my handbag.
So what do you think of the Look Fantastic Beauty Box? Have you tried any of the products or brands in the July box? And do you regularly purchase or subscribe to beauty boxes? If so, which one or ones?
