As I mentioned in my This Has Been: Florida post (link here), I will be bringing you four Florida shopping hauls over the next four Sundays. And as I blog predominantly about beauty products, where better to start than with my Florida beauty haul.
If you are a fan of beauty hauls. Then be sure to check out next Sunday's haul post which will be completely dedicated to my Sephora purchases. Of which there are more than a couple. But back to my more general Florida beauty haul;
eos Lip Balms
I do love a good eos lip balm. In fact the very first product review and post that I did on Ellis Tuesday was of my Strawberry Sorbet eos lip balm (link here). When I saw the eos display in my local Walgreens, basically the entire range made it's way into my basket. Ooops! But when you start to work out just how much cheaper they are to buy in the US. This is essentially the reason that I went as overboard as I did with these. It's hard not to pick them up.
Victoria's Secret Total Attraction Fragrance Mists and Ultra Moisturising Hand And Body Cream
When you are met by a sign which alerts you to the fact that a brand new range is currently on an introductory offer at Victoria's Secret. You can imagine the excitement generated in and around that store. Not only was the entire range $5, (yes you heard me correctly FIVE DOLLARS!) But Total Attraction has quickly made it's way to the top of my Victoria's Secret beauty favourites list. I picked up the very last few in the store. And considering the products are usually $14, I understood why everyone (including myself) was taking advantage of such a great deal.
OPI Double Pack (Chasing Rainbows and I Saw it on Teal-ivision)
So I didn't necessarily need any more nail polish but this OPI duo was in a set in TJ Maxx for $7.99, making each polish $4 (around £2.50). For OPI nail polishes, this was a deal too good to ignore. The teal is absolutely stunning and as I kicked myself for not buying Rainbow Connection (a limited edition shade from the first Muppets collection). I couldn't leave Chasing Rainbows behind.
Target Cosmetic Latex Free Foam Wedges - Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear (Blue Moon (423)) and Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Glitter Effect (Mind Your Manors (930))
The Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear line is by far my favourite nail polish collection. So I made sure to pick up two recent releases, which are absolutely stunning, to add to my already overflowing nail polish collection. I also picked up some cosmetic foam wedges whilst I was at Target. And these were a great price too.
Maybelline Baby Lips Dr Rescue Medicated Balm in Too Cool (35) and Pink Me Up (40)
More lip balms! As I was pretty confident that you wouldn't be able to buy this particular range of Baby Lips here in the UK. I had to pick up a few. I love the sound of the medicated quality of these as my lips become ridiculously dry and chapped over the winter months. I really can't wait to put these to the test.
Victoria's Secret Scandalous Rollerball
I didn't necessarily need another perfume, especially as I bought a very exciting rollerball fragrance from Sephora that I'll be sharing with you next week. But everytime that I purchased something from Victoria's Secret (which was quite a few times) they sprayed this onto the tissue paper in my shopping bag. My entire room smelt amazing as a result, so it didn't take much convincing when I was asked if I would like to add this to my basket at the checkout.
Bath and Body Works Pocketbacs
Now what is a trip to the US without a trip to Bath and Body Works? At 5 for $5 you can't really ignore the Pocketbac stand as you make your way through the store. I could have easily bought so much more in Bath and Body Works (I'm basically talking about candles right here). But my luggage was already overweight without adding those into the equation.
So that was my Florida beauty haul. I can't wait to try out all of these incredible products. And I will definitely be reviewing them all in the upcoming weeks and months. Are there any products in particular that you would like me to review first?
What products do you pick up when you're in the US? What would be at the top of your wishlist if you were to travel to the US?
