Nails Inc Chester Feather Effect Polish
June's polish is this beautiful feather effect. I'm now officially half way through the Nail Polish Diary which is pretty unbelievable. How we are half way through 2014 already? Is it just me who feels like this year is flying by in an instant?
Back onto the polish itself. I remember when the feathers collection was first released. I instantly fell in love with the pretty pastel feather-like flecks. The one I was actually the most excited to try out. Was actually the one which ended up being included in the Nail Polish Diary. So that worked out pretty well for me. Hehe. What really caught my eye about this range of polishes, above and beyond the feathers effect itself. Was the stunning bottle design.
The font used to emblazon 'Feathers' across the front of the bottle is absolutely gorgeous. And just look at that cap! The white sketched feathers and a funky tropical looking bird, on the trademark Nails Inc silver cap. It's such a change from the norm for Nails Inc. And I really like it.

The 'Feather's close up
I don't normally take a close up photograph for my Nail Polish Diary blog posts. But I just had to show you what it looks like up close. Plus the feathers themselves do kind of blend into the sparkly Nail Polish Diary above.
I adore how intricate the strands of colours are. Saying that, this is definitely more of a top coat rather than a polish on it's own. So I would bear that in mind just in case you think you would easily achieve the feathers look to cover the entire nail. It looks amazing over neutral shades and even better over pastel shades to pick up the pastel colours of the feathers themselves. The polish also dries incredibly quickly. Now this is great, if like me, you are often put off by top coats which take quite a while to dry. You certainly don't have that problem here.
What do you think of the Nails Inc Chester Feather Effect Polish? Have you tried any of the feathers collection? If so, what did you think of them? Are you a fan of top coats like this?
