Nails Inc Fulham Palace Gardens
May's Nail Diary polish is Fulham Palace Gardens; a rainbow Sprinkles polish. Can you believe it's May already? I genuinely feel like it was just yesterday that I was writing about the January nail polish!
I remember lusting after the Sprinkles collection when it was first released. Fulham Palace Gardens is a new addition to the original Sprinkles collection. And as far as I can tell is exclusive to the Nail Polish Diary. Considering I was so enamoured with the Sprinkles collection in the first place. I was over the moon to find this special effect polish included as May's polish.
This just feels like the perfect polish for the month of May for me. As it looks like my idea of spring/summer in a bottle. I'm really loving the pastel trend at the moment, especially on my nails. So this pretty pastel pink polish dotted with 'sprinkles' is basically my idea of a dream nail polish for any time of the year really. Hehe.
I don't know if I would even class this as a glitter nail polish as the glitter-like particles are actually matte instead of sparkly. They look exactly like sprinkles or hundreds and thousands. And they instantly make my nails look good enough to eat.
That Sprinkles look
The above effect is achieved after only two coats. And I've been nothing but impressed by the effect of this polish on the nails. It's pretty rare for a glitter-like polish, like this one, to only take one or two coats to achieve the same effect as you see when you pick up the bottle. You know what I'm talking about. When it takes about four or five coats and perfectly placed glitter particles to even get something that looks like the effect in the bottle?
Normally when that's the case my nails looks dreadful. And that particular polish gets sequestered away to the back of my nail polish collection. Well Nails Inc Fulham Palace Gardens certainly doesn't have that problem at all.
What do you think of this special effect sprinkle polish? Is it something you would wear? Are you loving the pastel trend this spring/summer when it comes to your nails?
