Clinique Moisture Favourites Set £32

After hearing such amazing things about the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief I knew I would have to try it out. I happened to be out shopping when I made a beeline for the Clinique counter in my local Debenhams store. I initially only stopped by to see if I could get a sample of the product to try out but as they didn't have one for me to take home and try they let me test it out on the back of my hand.

I then went for a wander around Debenhams only to find myself stroking the back of my hand (I promise it isn't as strange as it sounds. Hehe). My skin felt so soft that I had to return to the Clinique counter to make a purchase.
I was ready to part with £32 for the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief on it's own until I was informed that it was also part of a gift set, entitled the Moisture Favourites Set. And this set was £32 as well! Cue me doing a bit of a happy dance in the middle of Debenhams as this essentially meant that I was getting a couple of amazing freebies for the exact same price. I thought there would be a catch, like the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief being a smaller size or something like that but it's the exact same 50ml jar, that I was ready to spend £32 on alone, plus so much more.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Beauty Review

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
I personally have really dry skin and it's been getting even worse in the past couple of months. It's never a good look when you have dry flakes all over your face. So I've been searching for a facial moisturiser to really replenish some hydration and moisture into my skin. Nothing has really worked wonders, until now.
This isn't your typical moisturiser at all. It's a light pink gel. Yes, you heard me, a gel. It's just the loveliest texture and glides onto the skin, without leaving any oil or grease either. It's also fragrance free which is a big bonus for me and it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin in the slightest. I've been applying it every night before bed and the difference it has made to the flakes on my skin is unbelievable. There isn't a single flake and you would never know that I've struggled with dry skin before. I really have to urge you to go and try this out, especially if you have dry or very dry skin. I know it's on the pricey side, I'm not normally the type of person who would fork out over £30 on a moisturising product but this is just a whole different story.

Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage Beauty Review

Now on to the first of three free products. This product couldn't have arrived in my life at a better time. I've recently had really puffy and irritated eyes (I'm hoping it's only as a result of the change in the weather and a bit of hayfever and not anything worse). This instantly soothes my eyes and removes any puffiness in no time at all. The roller-ball applicator is simply fantastic and as it's metallic it cools the area so quickly. I have a feeling this will be a real staple product for me. It's especially great on an early morning when you've not had much sleep the night before too. Just look at how cute this little tube is as well.

Whilst I've tried quite a few (maybe ten or so) lip crayons from the drugstore (I definitely need to hurry up and write a review of those ten or so drugstore lip crayons. Hehe), the one lip crayon that really started the craze and spawned so many different imitations was the Clinique Chubby Stick. I had planned on picking one up on my visit to the US later in the year but to find it was included in this set made me incredibly excited as I would finally be getting my hands on one of the illustrious Chubby Sticks. It is quite sheer, compared to the pigmentation of many of the other lip crayons I've tried, but I really like the look of this on the lips. It's incredibly moisturising too and I absolutely adore the size of this little mini Chubby Stick. (It's so cute!) I can't wait to try out more shades later in the year.

In addition to the three wonderful products shown above, you also get a gorgeous make-up bag to keep your new purchases in. One side is light pink (as you can see above) and the other side is fuschia pink.

What do you think of this set? Have you tried any of these products before? If so, what did you think of them? Do you think more companies should do sets such as this one? What do you think of the savings?
