GOSH Frosted Pastel Nail Lacquers

GOSH Frosted Pastel Nail Lacquers Review Swatches Superdrug 50th Birthday Limited Editions

GOSH Frosted Pastel Nail Lacquers* £3.99
(From left to right: Pastel Blue, Pastel Pink and Pastel Green)

If you saw my Superdrug 50th Birthday Haul post (link here) then you may have already seen these three gorgeous GOSH nail lacquers which were released to celebrate the special occasion.

Since I fell a little bit/a lot in love with GOSH's frosted sand nail lacquers in the past, which I reviewed (here), you can just imagine my excitement to find out that these amazing new polishes were also of the frosted sand variety. Then I saw the pastel shades and my heart skipped a beat. Am I the only one who reacts this way when they see new nail polishes released? Hehe.

GOSH Frosted Nail Lacquer in Pastel Green Review Swatch Superdrug 50th Birthday

GOSH Frosted Nail Lacquer in Pastel Green (09)*

I have applied two coats of each of the polishes here but again, I could have easily gotten away with just one. I'm incredibly impressed with the coverage and the effect of these nail lacquers and I'm really excited to see what GOSH come up with next. In terms of being a drugstore brand, the quality really is exceptional and the price is incredible too.

Just like the previous frosted sand polishes that I reviewed from GOSH (link here) these do dry with a matte finish. If this is an issue for you then I would definitely recommend applying a glossy top coat to change that matte texture. But for me, it's all about the textured and frosted look of these beautiful shades.

Superdrug currently have a 3 for 2 promotion across all cosmetics in store and online so now is the time to grab these if you have fallen in love with the pastel shades and the frosted look of these, just like I have.

What do you think of these? Are you a fan of pastel shades when it's spring/summer? And do you like the frosted/textured nail trend?

  1. I love pastel shades but my wardrobe is still full of black and black alone haha! I'm surprised that the green shade is probably my favourite, I don't usually like the colour but this one is really pretty.
