As a natural redhead, I have long struggled to find beauty products that match my particular colouring. Whether this be foundation and concealer light enough for my ridiculously fair and freckled skin (see my top picks here), eyeshadow shades that don't look crazy with my complexion or brow products that actually match my hair colour, the struggle is real. But in comes Fenty Beauty Brow MVP.
The amount of blonde, taupe, light brown and generic brown shades that I have tried is kinda unreal. And none have been a perfect match.
When I have seen a brow product marketed at us redheads, it's normally straight up orange. So when I found out that Rihanna was releasing four (yes FOUR!) brow shades for redheads I could not believe what I was hearing.
All I can say is, thank you to Rihanna and the Fenty Beauty team for thinking of an often overlooked section of the public. That and hello Brow MVP!

Rihanna has gone on record saying that redheads were the number one concern on her list when creating her first brow product. She wanted there to be a wide range of options for us and I could not be more appreciative. So whether you're strawberry blonde, auburn, deep red or ginger, there is a shade for you.
Let's have a look at the four options swatched, to let you see what I mean.
From left to right:
Soft Red - for strawberry blonde to light red hair, warm undertone
Auburn - for medium red and reddish brown hair, warm undertone
True Red - for classic red hair, warm undertone
Dark Auburn - for dark red and reddish brown hair, warm undertone
There are then a further ten shades in the range to choose from, taking you from the lightest blonde to the deepest black.
The pencil itself is one that I enjoy using and I love having a perfect colour match. The product is on the firmer side, allowing you to create realistic looking depth to the brow without it budging. If I am being picky, the consistency could be a little softer, as that's what I'm used to but I quickly grasped how to use it to get the best out of it.
Each Brow MVP also comes with what I would describe as a toothbrush-style brush. I don't own any other brow products with such a brush and after using it a few times, I actually prefer the way in which this blends and diffuses the colour, to a traditional spoolie.
