For years now I've been on the hunt for some affordable makeup storage. And today I'm sharing how to organize your makeup in a drawer.
It was definitely spurred on by the fact that everyone seemed to have a certain set of Muji drawers either on their blogs, YouTube channels or Instas. But at the time I just couldn't part with £30+ on clear plastic drawers, no matter how much I wanted them.
Because I blog about beauty, there really are beauty bits dotted all over my house. And sometimes I almost forget what I have or what I love as a result. So when I spotted these babies on the New Look site I knew that I'd finally struck gold. I had initially planned on taking advantage of the 25% off everything deal that they ran a few weeks ago. But for some reason or another (probably because I'd already been a bit spendy that month) I hadn't got around to buying them. So you can imagine my surprise and excitement when I clicked back onto the site to see that they were running a buy one get one free promotion on their entire beauty range. BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!! At £15 each (aka. what they cost normally), I think that's a really affordable price for what you're getting. But them being BOGOF meant that each set of drawers cost me just £7.50!
The New Look Acrylic Drawers
I'd seen other acrylic drawers, other than the Muji ones, online. But most were on Amazon or eBay and I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. Or if I could return them if they didn't work for me, which was another reason for ordering them from New Look. I got free delivery to store and knew that I could easily return them had they not been to my taste after receiving them. They're a great size and the quality is really good too, something I wasn't necessarily expecting. To have all of my makeup in one place. And organised by category makes such a big difference each day. It also means that my makeup bag isn't bursting at the seams either.
So there's how to organize your makeup in a drawer.
