Every so often a blogging opportunity comes along that really takes my breath away and this was one of them. Not only did I get to head along to my local Chisholm Hunter store in the wonderful Argyll Arcade in Glasgow City Centre. But I also got to try on some of the stunning pieces from their six brand new Winter 2015 collections.
The six distinct collections comprise of; Liberty (inspired by Art Deco pieces with a New York flair), Riviera (Mediterranean glamour all the way and my personal favourite), Cascade (inspired by water and droplets of diamonds), Parisian (Paris summed up; romantic, artistic and elegant), Imperial (made up of grand and bold showstoppers) and Timeless (simplicity defined).
And here are a few of the pieces from those collections that really caught my eye;
I'm a bit of a magpie when it comes to jewellery. So I was instantly drawn to the first two rings. How sparkly is that Cascade band in the middle? And who doesn't love the look of a yellow diamond? I seriously had to stop myself from pretending that I had just been given it by the Hollywood A-lister of my dreams. Michael Fassbender, I'm looking at you!
Despite being completely won over by the beautiful heart shape stone, a style that I wasn't sure would really be to my taste until I tried it on and the Titanic-esque blue tanzanite bracelet and ring. My absolute favourite piece of the night had to be the stunning sparkler in the middle, below. Despite being forever single I did find myself thinking, if I was ever to get engaged this would be the type of ring that I could definitely see myself wearing. There's a not-so-subtle hint to any prospective partners. Hehe.

And at one point, basically when I was draped in tanzanite, I had on over £40,000 of jewellery. All of a sudden I began to realise why celebrities are paired up with burly bodyguards when they step onto the red carpet with pieces like these.
