Christmas Gifts For Him 2015

On Blogmas Day 4 I shared some slightly unconvential and untraditional Christmas gift ideas for men, as well as a few beauty and fragrance bits. And hopefully today's post should give you some more ideas for what to buy the man or men in your life this Christmas. So whether you're buying for your Dad, your brother, your husband/partner/boyfriend, your guy friends or male colleagues. There should be some great ideas, if I don't say so myself, in today's post. I've also done a bit of research online to find the best deals and discounts on the products featured today too. And there are some serious savings to take advantage of if you've still not started your Christmas shopping yet.

Men's Christmas Fragrance Gifts

Fragrance gifts

First up is fragrance. As I've mentioned on the blog before, in our family we basically show our love for one another through the medium of candles. Yankee Candle's Barbershop range of candles are a bit of a departure from the usual candles that we having burning in our house. Which are normally incredibly sweet and food-like fragrances. That means they work perfectly for the men in your life. The range focuses on areas of a Barbershop so you'll find scents like Hot Towel, Chrome and Aftershave. But my favourite was definitely the classic Barbershop.

When it comes to aftershaves and such, you might want to do a bit of digging to get a feel for what kinds of scents they normally gravitate towards. If you're buying for someone like your Dad, your other half or your brother and you happen to live with them. You will probably have a pretty good idea as to what kinds of scents they like.

Fragrance gift sets are always a safe bet in my opinion. And they're also fantastic value for money too, which is a great bonus. One of the best on the market this year has to be the Paco Rabanne Invictus gift set*. It includes both a 50ml bottle of the Invictus EDT and a 100ml shower gel. And it's currently down from £42 to £35.99 at Fragrance Direct.

When it comes to individual bottles there are two that both me, my brother and my Dad really rate this year. Dolce & Gabbana Intenso* is a new release that would work well for a whole host of different men. And it's currently down from £42 to £33.99 on Fragrance Direct. Then there's the firm favourite in our household; HUGO BOSS BOSS The Scent*. Both my Dad and my brother own this very scent. So it comes with a big thumbs up from them. It's £36 on Escentual, down from £45, with similar savings on the larger bottles.

Beer Christmas Gifts

Beer gifting

If the man you're buying for this year is a beer drinker, I don't think you'll find any more ideal gifts for them than these ones. I found these two brilliant beer related buys on Qwerkity who have some great gifts for men ideas. The Giant Beer Stein* which is £12.99 holds a whole TWO LITRES! And for a bit of a fun twist on Christmas bath smellies there's the Beer Shower Gel*. It comes on a rope so you can hang it from your shower or bath. And it's only £5.99 too.

Or if you know that they'll be after the beer itself, why not buy a box of beer and pop a bow on it. Speaking from experience, this tends to be received incredibly well.

Male Grooming Christmas Gifts

Grooming products

In last year's Christmas Gift Guide For Men, I featured Fish Soho. And as a result my brother then went on to try them out. Now, he's nineteen and incredibly picky about what he uses on his hair. But he's a huge fan of this range. The two products in today's post are two recent releases that would make for some great stocking additions or Secret Santa style gifts if you're stuck buying for a member of the opposite sex this year. ASOS currently have the whole Fish Soho range on sale. So you can pick up the Fishfix Wax for £3, instead of £4.99 and the Superfish Fishsticks Hairspray is down to £3.50 from £5.

And the Accent 5 in 1 Grooming Set* is an absolute bargain at just £12.99 if you're on a bit of budget this Christmas.

Go Ape

And last but not least why not treat the man in your life to a day out and an adventurous one at that with Go Ape! With three unique courses located across Scotland, each featuring an incredible tree top adventure, you'll be creating some fantastic memories with your Christmas gift instead of it just laying around the house. And who wouldn't want to fly down zip wires and hopefully burn off some of the calories from Christmas dinner with them?

So what do you think of my Christmas picks? Do you find it tricky to find gifts for the men in your life? And have you started your Christmas shopping yet?
