bareMinerals Pop Of Passion

bareMinerals are a brand that I have mistakenly long overlooked. As it has taken until this year for me to fall completely head over heels in love with their products. And it has a lot to do with this wonderful duo. Released last month the bareMinerals Pop Of Passion range comprises of two brand new products; a blush balm and a lip oil balm. Both of which look absolutely adorable.

The packaging is definitely on point but what about the product encased in it? Well I've put both the blush balm and the lip oil balm to the test. And here are my thoughts on the two of them.

bareMinerals Pop Of Passion Blush Balm

bareMinerals Pop Of Passion Blush Balm in Posy* £20

For some reason or another I've always avoided cream blushes. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I've never had a positive experience with them myself. So when I was given the opportunity to put this blush balm to the test. I did my very best to forget about those previous cream blush fails. And I'm so glad that I did.

There are three shades of soft, dewy colour to choose from, each of which scream Spring/Summer to me. If you're looking for a natural, lightweight blush that doesn't leave your skin looking greasy or shiny then here it is. It works into the skin beautifully and it really does last for hours. I definitely recommend applying this blush balm with your fingers. As the formula of it seems to work best when introduced to the heat of your fingertips.

My only negative is the fact that this is a limited edition release. So if like me you've found your dream blush you might want to stock up now.

bareMinerals Pop Of Passion Lip Oil Balm

bareMinerals Pop Of Passion Lip Oil Balm in Pink* £16

As someone who can often suffer from dry and cracked lips, this product really did catch my attention when I first heard that it would be being released. To see a product that combined a real hydrating quality with a lovely sheer colour and lots of shine certainly piqued my interest.

With eight shades to choose from. There really is a shade for every taste. And if you're anything like me, you will probably find yourself lusting after quite a number of them. With this pink shade I've got myself a fantastic 'my lips but better' colour that feels so hydrating on the lips. This truly is the product that I've been searching for for years now. And all I can do is applaud and thank bareMinerals for coming up with it.

The texture is fantastic and for those of you who aren't fans of heavily fragranced or flavoured lip products or balms. You don't have to worry about that for one second with these. And whilst the lip oil balms are pretty sheer they are also completely buildable. Plus I don't have an issue with the sheerness of them at all as it leaves me with juicy and perfectly pink lips.
