The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet Beauty Review

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet £8

When it comes to The Body Shop, strawberry has always been my favourite scent. It's the one fragrance that I always tend to gravitate towards when I'm in the store. So as soon as I heard that The Body Shop would be releasing a range of Body Sorbets (including a Strawberry flavour). I was incredibly, incredibly excited.

My review

I have a feeling that as soon you smell this strawberry sorbet, or any of the other flavours (which include mango, pink grapefruit and satsuma) you'll instantly feel the need to add as many of the flavours as you can possibly carry into your basket. And sprint to the nearest checkout. I know I did!

These literally smell good enough to eat! I actually had to remind myself not to lick my own arm at several points throughout the day! Haha. That's how good this body sorbet smells. As soon as I first had a sniff of this product the first smell that came to mind was that of strawberry Calpol. Was anyone else given that as a child when they weren't feeling well? Well if you were I have a feeling you'll know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to the scent of this product. Obviously it smells like strawberry Calpol in a very good way. It certainly doesn't have the same connotations as Calpol does, just a very similar smell.

The moisturiser (sorbet) itself truly is amazing! It sinks right into the skin in a couple of seconds and doesn't leave a trace of grease or stickiness behind either. If you couldn't smell the wonderful strawberry scent or feel the amazing cooling quality on the skin, you could be tempted to say you don't feel like you're wearing any product on the skin at all. Even if you're not necessarily looking for a new moisturiser, this body sorbet is absolutely fantastic at cooling down areas of the body which, if you've been experiencing theu ncharacteristically warm weather here in the UK recently, makes this tube worth it's weight in gold. It also means that the sorbets are perfect for taking away with you on your summer holidays (or any holidays that you have planned in the warmer climates throughout the year).

Keep cool in the summer

Another added bonus for those wanting to keep cool; you can actually store these body sorbets in the fridge. Yes this is basically the greatest revelation when it comes to keeping cool on a swelteringly hot day in Glasgow (trust me, I never thought I'd type that phrase either! Hehe).

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet has got to be my favourite brand new release of recent months. And that really is saying something. I've already got my eye on the satsuma and pink grapefruit flavours and of course I'll need to make sure that I stock up on some more of the strawberry kind too.

So what do you think of the body sorbet idea? Will you be trying any of them out during the summer months? If you have tried them, what do you think of them? And what is your favourite scent when it comes to The Body Shop
