Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion

Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion Review new release

Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion* £4.99 (RRP)

Now I have to admit I can be rather lazy when it comes to moisturising. I sometimes only moisturise two times a week and when you have skin that gets as dry as mine does this isn't exactly the best idea. Sometimes I'm being lazy and other times I genuinely don't have the time to moisturise my full body from head to toe, so I'm always looking for ways to speed up my moisturising routine. As soon as I heard Palmer's were releasing this product I was completely overjoyed. I think once you've used one of their cocoa butter formula products you tend to end up enamoured with the entire range, as I know I did.

This product is just so quick and easy to use. Whilst I'm normally reluctant to moisturise my entire body on a daily basis (bad beauty blogger eh? hehe), I find myself reaching for this spray lotion every single morning and it really makes moisturising such a breeze. And as it promises 24 hour moisture, I don't feel guilty about only applying it quickly in the mornings. A couple of sprays is all you need and I love that you can reach tricky areas on the body with ease. I'm talking those hard to reach areas such as certain bits of my back that I normally just give up on.

What I really adore about this moisturising spray is that it doesn't make the skin feel oily or greasy in the slightest and it absorbs into the skin straight away. I really think that this product would be perfect for summer as the spray instantly cools you down. In addition to this, my skin feels so incredibly soft and I have been using this product exclusively whilst I've been trying it out.

I also absolutely love the trademark Palmer's cocoa butter scent! Is it weird that I find myself sniffing my arms even hours after I've applied the lotion just so I can get a little hint of the chocolately scent again? Hehe. If you aren't a fan of strong scents or fragrances when it comes to moisturisers then I would definitely recommend taking a trip to your local Boots or Superdrug store to give it a little test. It could be a little overpowering for some but I love cocoa scented products and this smells like a mixture of cocoa butter and shea butter which is rather dreamy in my opinion.

So this product is definitely a winner for me! As this has just been released you can currently find it filtering into Superdrug stores as we speak and it will also be available in Boots in the next couple of weeks. I've definitely seen it in my local Superdrug store but can't seem to find a link to it online just yet so it's definitely one to look out for when you're next in store. And if you are an American reader or you're heading to the US soon and are planning to pick up some beauty items whilst there, then you can find this spray lotion in Walmart (link here).

What do you think of the spray lotion idea? Will you be trying this out? Are you a fan of cocoa butter scents?

  1. Ooh I love Palmer's Cocoa Butter products! They smell amazing! I've been using the Vaseline Spray and Go Body moisturiser in the Cocoa scent as it's so speedy! But now I know Palmer's do one, I'm definitely putting this in my basket when I see it! x

  5. I might give this a go as I love the scent of cocoa butter! I've tried a spray on lotion by St. Ives once and I loved how easy it was to use. Plus, as you mentioned it's great for those hard to reach areas. The only downside is you can never tell when the product running low - just out of nowhere I was out and lotion-less! haha

  6. Ellis, you left me your link on Twitter and I am just paying your blog a visit! I love your blog, you have very detailed and helpful reviews! I am in love with the quick spray daily moisturizer idea. I am also a beauty blogger who doesn't moisturizer daily because I am just too lazy :0 but this product seems right up my alley. I really need to give it a try! Palmers products are great and their body butter is very moisturizing so I am sure this product is as great as you say it is! Thanks for the review :)

  7. I'm an avid Cocoa Butter user, it's the only moisturiser that is thick enough to keep my skin supple and soft without irritating me - this seems much easier than the original bottled version! Might have to get myself down to Boots...
    Great review Ellis :)
