Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight EDT* £43.95
Despite owning quite a few fragrances, I have only ever completely finished one bottle of perfume. That perfume was Marc Jacobs Daisy. It's also the only perfume that I have ever repurchased. It's the one bottle I reach for throughout the year, regardless of the season. So as soon as I saw Marc Jacobs had released two new limited edition additions to the Daisy family I had a feeling I would fall in love with at least one of them (if not both of them.) As soon as I spritzed Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, I knew this was the scent for me. Not only does it look absolutely beautiful (like every single Marc Jacobs perfume bottle I have ever laid eyes on) but it's also available in a super sized 75ml bottle.
The fragrance is definitely right up my street. It's fruity but it also has gorgeous floral notes too. As I mentioned in my review of the Soap & Glory Orangeasm body wash (link here), I'm a big fan of scents with a bit of an orangey kick to them. Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight certainly has that since blood orange is one of it's top notes. Mix this in with pink pepper and white tea and you've got a real winner of a scent for me. The heart notes include violet, raspberry and tiare tahiti (okay I did have to Google what that one was. Hehe). And the base notes are amber, musk and apricot skin. Doesn't this sound like the dream fragrance to you? Despite all this it still smells Daisy-like. If you are a fan of the original Daisy scent then you certainly won't be disappointed with this new take on the original, in my opinion. The scent also lasts all day which just makes it perfection in a bottle for me. I'll definitely be reaching for this and giving my original Daisy perfume a little break for the foreseeable future.
When and where to buy
