Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette

Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette Review Swatches

Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette* £4.00

Now I feel like I may be the only beauty blogger who doesn't own one of the infamous Urban Decay Naked palettes (it certainly does feel that way hehe). Don't get me wrong, I've always fancied trying one of the Naked palettes and I often find myself gravitating towards the Urban Decay stand when I'm out shopping but
I just can't justify spending £37 on a palette. Even though I've been rather besotted with the Naked 3 palette in particular, I have a feeling I would probably only wear one or two of the shades on a daily basis, which would be a bit of waste really. If like me, you're a little reluctant to jump on the Naked palette bandwagon because of the rather off putting price tag, then I may have found the perfect solution for you.

Makeup Revolution, a brand which has seemingly sprung up from nowhere, have recently released a wide array of palettes including this little beauty. Can anyone else see a striking resemblance between this palette, entitled the Iconic 3 and Urban Decay's Naked 3? Well that's because they are practically identical, I'm talking identical! The shades are even in the same order in both palettes so you can directly compare the two and I have to say, I'm incredibly impressed with the shades on offer from Makeup Revolution here.

As a big fan of neutral eye shadows I've found myself reaching for this side of the palette on a daily basis. I'm especially in love with the shimmery shades and I think the matte shadows are also pretty impressive for the price. They are as pigmented as the Urban Decay shadows in my opinion and overall they last well. My top tip to increase the longevity of these shadows; make sure to use an eye shadow primer. I've been wearing these on top of the Beauty UK eye shadow primer, (which I reviewed here) and I find the two really work magnificently in conjunction with one another.

The fact that you get twelve spectacular shades for only £4 is a little mind-blowing, to say the least. Even if you only use a couple of the shades it still works out an absolute bargain. And what I must stress is that even though this palette is only £4 it doesn't feel cheap when it comes to the eye shadows themselves.
Okay so the packaging isn't as ornate as the Urban Decay offering but it's only packaging isn't it? I can't believe I'm actually saying that, considering the amount of times I've been swayed by pretty packaging in the past. Hehe. Whilst it may be a plastic palette I really don't mind this and the clasp also works well to keep the palette shut too.

I've seen so many great reviews of the rest of the Makeup Revolution range that I am rather excited to pick up a few more of their products. Makeup Revolution really does seem to be the brand to go to when it comes to dupes for some of the pricier make up brands.

You can pick up the Makeup Revolution range at selected Superdrug stores, on the Superdrug website and on the Makeup Revolution website. The entire Makeup Revolution range is also currently on a 3 for 2 deal in Superdrug, so if you're looking to try out quite a few of their products then I would definitely take advantage of the 3 for 2 deal.
With prices starting at £1 can you imagine the bargains you can pick up in a 3 for 2. I'm already dreaming up a wishlist as we speak!

What do you think of this palette? Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution products? If so, what products do you recommend trying out?
