Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray

CHARLES WORTHINGTON VOLUME & BOUNCE TEXTURISING SPRAY

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray £6.99

If you saw my Boots Haul post last week then you will have already seen that I picked this up in their recent 3 for 2 deal. I had to search high and low to get my hands on this purpley pink bottle and it was definitely worth the hassle. There wasn't a single bottle left in either of my local Boots stores and at this point it was out of stock online too. I almost gave up on finding a bottle of this, especially during the busy 3 for 2 period, until I saw it was back in stock online where I quickly snapped it up.

I've been toying with the idea of purchasing a texturising spray ever since my hair started feeling a little lacklustre and limp over the past couple of months. Most sprays promising to add texture and volume to your hair are on the pricey side, to the say the least, so when I heard that this product promised to do precisely that for a fraction of the price of some of the other brands I had to track it down.

I apply this by spraying it to my roots with my head turned upside down, for added volume. It definitely gives my hair that much needed boost and holds it. The hold is akin to that of a hairspray but unlike your traditional hairspray it gave my hair a serious backcombed effect so it's certainly a case of it does what it says on the bottle. Even better than the volumising effect that it had on my hair was the texturising effect. My hair always feels very soft, fluffy and almost candy-floss-ish right after it dries naturally, making it pretty difficult to style and rather frizzy as a result. This gives me that second day hair feeling without making my hair feel sticky or greasy in the slightest.

At only £7.99 you really can't go wrong. I think I'll definitely be stocking up on the Volume & Bounce range while the 3 for 2 deal is still on. I really want to give the mousse, powder and creme a try as well. Three more possible candidates for the 3 for 2 deal? Hehe.

Have you tried this spray yet? If so, what did you think of it? Are there any other volumising and texturising sprays you've tried?

    1. I've heard it's a bit of a dupe for the Oribe spray so I would definitely give this a try for a cheaper alternative! :)

  6. I haven't tried this yet, but it's on my wishlist. At the moment, I'm using the L'Oreal TXT Volumising Spray at the moment which is pretty good too.

  15. I picked this up last week after seeing it being mentioned as a bit of a dupe for the Oribe.
I quite like it however it can leave a slightly crispy feeling if you use it a little too much.

    1. I know what you mean about the crispy feeling but I try to limit how much I use to avoid that.
