La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo +

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo + £15.50

I was very kindly given the opportunity to review the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] by Escentual. And I am so glad that this was the product that they sent my way. I had seen a lot of buzz around this product. So I was intrigued to find out whether or not it truly lived up to the incredible hype.

I've been using the Effaclar Duo [+] for around two weeks now. And I've been completely blown away by the way it has improved my skin. I'm pretty lucky that I only get the odd blemish. But I do always seem to get one huge and highly noticeable blemish whenever I have anything important to go to. Why does that always happen?

How does it work on blemishes and scarring?

My main problem when it comes to blemishes is that I can often feel them lurking under the skin, ready to erupt at any given moment. Sometimes they don't even turn into actual spots but instead I can just feel them under the skin which is never too pleasant. This is really no longer a problem for me and I've only been using the Effaclar Duo [+] for just over two weeks.

I've been applying the product morning and night. A little really does go a long way for me. I think the first time I applied it I did so just a little bit too copiously and realised quite quickly that I didn't need that much at all. I apply it all over and then put just a couple of extra dots of product on real problem areas like current blemishes or the little bits of scarring left over from previous blemishes. That is another added bonus of the Effaclar Duo [+] in comparison to it's predecessor.

The Duo [+] fights against residual marks and I've noticed a vast improvement when it comes to a little scar that I have at the tip of my nose which is now basically untraceable, even to me. It also clears up any visible redness I have and did this in only a few days. I could say dream skincare product here and I will! I genuinely can't believe how quickly and how effectively this has been working for me.

Where to buy

You can buy the Effaclar Duo [+] from Escentual, Boots, Look Fantastic, Feelunique and other beauty retailers.

Have you tried the Effaclar Duo [+] and if so, what did you think of it? Is your skin prone to break outs and blemishes? And have you tried any more of the La Roche-Posay range? I'm so tempted to try out many, many more of their products very soon!
