A Little Bit Of Luxury Gift Guide (+ A Magnitone Giveaway)

best christmas gifts for her

For me, Christmas is the one time of year when it's perfectly acceptable to throw around the words 'treat 'yo self' on an almost daily basis. From having more than one mince pie to stocking up on gift sets, both to gift and to keep for yourself, it truly is 'the most wonderful time of the year'.

If you're looking for a gift for that special someone in your life whether it be your Mum, your BFF, your girlfriend/wife, your sister or even yourself, I've got some gifts that I know will make them/you feel well and truly treated this Christmas;

what to buy mum for christmas

You know how much I adore all things Kate Spade New York and in my opinion, the easiest way to share the gift of Kate Spade with your loved ones is by treating them to some of the stationery range. I mean have you ever seen stationery as pretty?! You might remember that last year I featured the Kate Spade New York desk planner/foldout agenda and it was easily one of the best gifts that I received myself. Not only was it incredibly handy and kept me right on quite a few occasions (especially as I'm someone who often mixes up dates) but it gave me the push that I needed to actually get work done instead of procrastinating.

This year the planner is even more chic and features the same fantastic array of pads and lists inside. And if you're shopping for someone who loves their stationery or keeping themselves organised, who also has a penchant for Kate Spade New York, this stationery tackle box* could not be better suited. Packed full of sticky notes, paper clips, push pins and basically everything you could need stationery wise, this will be a Christmas gift that will actually get used unlike the hundred and one bath bits that they will inevitably receive.

If the person that you're buying for is a big candle fan or they love to light them in the Winter months, I don't think you'll find a more festive candle than this one from Bella Freud*. Sure you've got Yankee Candle's Christmas range, which I still adore, but does it reference of one of the best Christmas songs of all time? It's also unlike any other candle that I currently own, of which most of mine are sickly sweet and immediately makes my sideboard look all the more chic and sophisticated.

christmas gift ideas for her beauty

Next we have some great gifts from Cult Beauty. If you're a fan of the kinds of festive gift sets that Sephora do at this time of year but always thought that you'd never be able to buy them here in the UK, get yourself on Cult Beauty now! Many of the gift sets are exclusive to Cult Beauty here in the UK, making it the place to go for your beauty buys this Christmas.

I was ecstatic to see this Sol de Janiero Bum Bum Beauty Voyage set* on the site, especially as I've wanted to try the Bum Bum cream for pretty much all of 2017. It also comes with the Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist, which I can confirm smells just as good as the Bum Bum cream itself. I also love the packaging of this set and the fact that it's a great way to try out the iconic moisturiser without having to fork out for the full size straight away.

Another set that I was over the moon to spot on Cult Beauty was the Huda Beauty Contour and Strobe Lip Set*. I mean doesn't that just look like one of the best gift sets you've ever seen?! Who wouldn't want to open it up on Christmas morning?! I've already fell head over heels in love with the lip strobe that I received in last month's Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box (as seen here) so to try more from the brand thanks to this amazing little set is what gives it my stamp of approval this festive season. There are four colour varieties to choose from and it won't break the bank either, at under £30.

charlotte tilbury gift set

Without a doubt, Charlotte Tilbury has to be my favourite beauty brand and her Christmas gifting options are always out of this world and this year is no different. Whether you're buying for your BFFs, your Mum, sister or girlfriend/wife, there truly is something for everyone and every budget. They also come in their own gift boxes, making them easy to wrap unlike 99% of the presents I usually buy.

Two new gift sets for 2017; the Beauty Icons and the Lip Archive*. If the person you're buying for has always wanted to try Charlotte's iconic lipsticks or if they're already a big fan, the Lip Archive gift set is the set for them. It also features three of Charlotte's best-selling lippies, which are only available in this set. They're also the kinds of shades that will suit a whole range of skin tones and colours.

And if you're not sure which Charlotte Tilbury product to gift to your loved one this year, you cannot go wrong with the Beauty Icons gift set. Comprising of a full size of Charlotte's iconic Pillow Talk lip liner and great luxury travel sizes of some of Charlotte's most award-winning products, I think you have to agree that this is one beautfiul gift set. And if you really want to treat the woman in your life this Christmas, add Charlotte's Scent Of A Dream to your basket right now, I promise you won't regret it and it will be another one of those presents that will be met with the biggest of smiles on Christmas morning. I'll be doing full individual reviews on each of the Charlotte Tilbury gift options next week so stay tuned for that to see each of the sets in more depth.

mon guerlain review

Nothing says luxury like cashmere and as a result, I always thought that it would be way out of my budget. However, I found this beautiful 100% cashmere scarf in Debenhams from Jasper Conran's J by Jasper Conran range at St. Enoch this year. It's also available in a variety of colours and is super super soft. This is the kind of affordable luxury that you need to check out and it's also currently down from £45 to £31!

Also from Debenhams, this epic set from Guerlain*. You might remember how much I raved about this fragrance earlier in the year, if not, you'll find my review here and I always find that Christmas is the best time to stock up on fragrances thanks to great gift sets like this one. You're getting a 100ml and a 30ml of Mon Guerlain for the price that you would regularly pay for just the 100ml so basically you're getting a 30ml for free. It's also a great set to split up so maybe give the 100ml to your Mum and the 30ml to your BFF (or even to yourself).

christmas gifts skincare

Much like Christmas being a great time to stock up on fragrance, the same can also be said for skincare. And some of the gift sets offer up savings that are out of this world. For fail safe skincare gifting I give you these three;

If in doubt, the bareMinerals Make It Mine Skincare Kit* has got you covered. Whether the person you're buying for has a skincare routine or not, this kit gives them the perfect three step routine to make makeup look better on and to care for their skin in the cold Winter months. It's also worth £57 but only £39 to buy. See what I mean about great savings to be had by buying sets?

Speaking of savings, this Joyful & Renewed 3-Piece Set from Murad* has product totalling £118 in it but will cost you just £65 this Christmas. That's essentially half price! So if you know the person you're buying for loves Murad but doesn't get the chance to treat themselves to it all that often, be sure to snap up this set.

magnitone barefaced rose gold
