Space NK have really been hitting it out of the park with the brands that they've welcomed in the past few months. I feel like every time that I go into a Space NK store or have a browse online they have so many new products and brands to check out. From the brilliant ILIA Beauty (that I reviewed earlier this year), to Lisa Eldridge and Vyrao, it's always so exciting to have a good look around. And today I'm sharing just three of the new to Space NK brands that you truly need to know about.
SHOP THE POST
Gone are the days when you used to arrive in the US with a massive list of beauty products to buy, that we couldn't get back home. And I don't know about you but I much prefer it that way. It certainly saves me from spending $$$ in Sephora.
Youth To The People
First up we have Youth To The People. And what a brand to start with. These three products have quickly become absolute staples in my skincare routine.
If you happen to have really dry/dehydrated skin and are looking for a rich and creamy moisturiser to try out next, I cannot recommend the Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream highly enough. Not only is it incredibly nourishing but it also soothes the skin and sinks in nicely. But what has impressed me most was how it has worked on the dehydration lines that I have on my forehead. In the colder months especially, I can get what look like wrinkles on my forehead but are actually dehydration lines. And it sometimes takes a combination of several different products to make any sort of difference. Whereas almost immediately after using the Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream the lines were essentially gone.
Another fantastic product for adding hydration back into the skin, the Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask is ideal for using overnight and leaves my skin looking glowy and feeling so soft when I wake up. It's also helped with the dry patches and uneven texture that I have around my nose and on my forehead. As I say, it's been a while since I was truly blown away by some skincare products. But that's exactly what happened with these buys.
And last but not least we have the Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial. This buffs away dead skin cells without irritating my skin in the slightest. Again, it leaves the skin looking glowy and smooth and is easily one of the best facial exfoliants that I have ever tried. And I've put a lot to the test over the years. This is great if you have uneven texture, have noticed that your makeup isn't sitting as well as it could be or have any dry patches. As I say, just another absolute must in my skincare routine now.
If you're not sure which Youth To The People product to try first, they do a great minis kit, which contains some of the brand's bestselling and most beloved products. I'm so tempted to get it so that I have minis of my favourites for travel and can try out more of the range.
Innisfree
I really only knew of Innisfree from their viral SPF. But when I spotted the full range in store, I was instantly drawn to one product in particular. And that was the Cherry Blossom Glow Jelly Cream. The consistency of it is so fun. And I have a feeling this will be my go-to moisturiser over the warmer months. It's really lightweight but gives the skin a boost of hydration and a glass-like appearance. It's also really affordable too.
Even though I normally only use SPF50, I simply had to try their Daily UV Defense Sunscreen in SPF30. And this gets a big thumbs up from me. It's moisturising, has no white cast and absorbs instantly. It also doesn't irritate my skin, either around my eyes or in terms of causing any breakouts or blemishes. Plus, it's lightweight and a reasonable price. I fully understand the hype and can't wait to try out more from Innisfree in the future.
Dedcool
Finally we have Dedcool and I have to admit, other than adding some fun Sol de Janeiro fragrance mists to my collection, it's been a while since I shopped for perfume. But the arrival of hit US brand Dedcool has come at the perfect time.
Now, I will say, when I first sprayed the Xtra Milk Eau De Parfum both on my skin and a tester card, I was concerned not to really smell anything. But I should not have worried. It actually took a couple of minutes for the scent to appear and develop. But once it did I was in love. If you happen to be near a Space NK when you're next out shopping you simply have to give it a spritz.
I would compare it a little bit to Glossier's You. But Xtra Milk has even more layers to it. I simply can't get enough of it and again, I can see why it is so hyped. I also really like the fact that the brand do complimentary room and linen sprays, laundry detergents, air fresheners and even 'poop drops'. As I say, if you haven't been to your local Space NK to give this brand a sniff, you won't regret it.
Have you tried any of these brands? If so, what did you think? And which brands would you love to come to Space NK in the future?
