Benefit's New Boi-ing Concealer Collection

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer Collection Review

When it comes to doing my makeup there is one product that I can't live without and it has to be concealer. Whether I'm covering up my dark under eye circles or a blemish that's popped up from nowhere, concealer is a key piece of kit for me. So when I heard that Benefit were adding to their concealer range I was really excited to see what kinds of consistency they would be bringing to the table. To then find out that they were completely re branding their existing concealer products had me even more intrigued.

So here is the brand new Benefit Boi-ing concealer collection;

The original Fake Up concealer and Erase Paste have now joined the Boi-ing family, as has a brand new product; an airbrush concealer. And there really is a concealer for every issue and individual and also a nice range of shades.

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer Collection 2017

Let's start with the brand new product, the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer*. This is a medium coverage waterproof concealer ideal for blurring away imperfections that leaves you with a real airbrush finish, as the name would denote. It's also lightweight feeling on the skin, which I really like and lasted the whole day on me when I applied it.

Then we have the Boi-ing Brightening Concealer*. This does what it says on the tin or should I say box. This has more of a colour correcting kind of formula and is of a fuller coverage. If you've got dull, tired areas or under eyes, this is for you.

Next there's the namesake for this entire collection; the Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer*. This is the fullest of coverage when it comes to the collection and really is heavy duty. If you've got something that you want seriously covered, whether it's discoluration, really dark circles or pronounced blemishes, then this is the concealer for you. It's also really creamy and workable which I think is important for such a coverage and lasts for a significant period of time.

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer Hydrating

Finally we have the Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer*. This is perfect for dry or dehydrated skin and is the sheerest when it comes to coverage. What I love about it is the fact that it doesn't look crusty or cakey, like many other concealers can and that's something that can be said of the entire Boi-ing concealer collection, which is what I want from my concealer(s). This has really improved the looks of dryness directly under my eyes and leaves the skin feeling hydrated which is quite the sensation, especially when you suffer from dehydrated skin.

For reference I am shade 1 in each of the concealers, with this being the lightest shade.

And that's what makes up the collection. You'll find the entire Boi-ing range at your nearest Benefit counter as well as from all the usual retailers such as Feel Unique, Boots, Look Fantastic, Debenhams, House Of Fraser and Sephora launching this month. If you want to try out the whole collection, Benefit have an adorable little kit launching on the 15th of this month, called the Erase Case, which looks like it will be a fantastic deal, as Benefit's kits and collections always are.

What do you think of the new collection of concealers? What do you think of the Boi-ing rebrand? Have you tried any of Benefit's concealers before? And what is your favourite concealer of all-time?
