This Has Been: June

Why have I not found my very own Seth Cohen yet? - Who do I speak to about getting a bottle of Viktor & Rolf's Bon Bon this size? - Having a bit of a Katy Perry night after watching her Radio 1's Big Weekend set - Bedtime essentials - Taking as many photographs as possible on a sunny day - After finishing season six of Sex and the City this was the only natural progression - Sunday night BBQ - Just another Lana Del Rey song for me to become obsessed with - I finally bought The Sims 3 - After three hospital appointments in two days I decided I needed a little treat to pick me up - Send help, I've started Sex and the City again from the very beginning for what must be the hundredth time - I'm such a big fan of this lotion from Garnier (expect a review soon) - A celebratory Father's Day shandy - It's ice cream weather! - One of the best beauty buys I've made in a long time - Physio #ootd - Ryan Gosling movie marathon - I managed to pick up these beauties in the Zara sale - I finished Breaking Bad and all I can say is, if you haven't seen it yet, you really need to! - Slightly obsessed with this flavour of Propercorn - Finally jumping aboard the Orange is the New Black bandwagon - It's so amazing to read about Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup (link here) in this week's Stylist magazine - Would you like to see a little Zara sale haul post? - It really makes me smile to receive a wonderful parcel with my blog's name on it like this one. Hehe.

So June hasn't been the best of months for me, health-wise anyway. I've spent most of this month attending different clinics and hospital appointments and having a variety of tests done. As a result I've been stuck at home most of the month but it's been really nice to spend time with my family (they might not see it the same way! Haha). We finished Breaking Bad after a month of watching two or three episodes a night and have enjoyed some of the uncharacteristically nice weather, here in Scotland, too.

I also started physiotherapy this month, to hopefully help alleviate some of the discomfort and pain that I've been experiencing recently and I have to admit, I'm really enjoying it. I'm definitely one of the most unfit people I know but it's been great to work on strengthening my core in particular. It's also nice to associate exercise with strength and wellbeing instead of just thinking of it as a way to lose weight. On recommendation from my physiotherapist I'm looking into attending some Pilates classes which I'm really excited about! Has anyone else tried Pilates before?
