Ellis Tuesday's Summer Sun-days: Travel Sized

Ellis Tuesday's Summer Sun-days: Travel Sized Beauty Review Liz Earle The Body Shop Paul Mitchell Orly Eucerin Escentual

If you're lucky enough to be packing your suitcase or need some ideas on what travel sized products to pick up when you're next off on your travels then I have some recommendations above and beyond our normal travel check-list. When I say our normal travel check-list, I think we all pick up the necessities such as a toothpaste, shampoo, body wash etc. but there's always room for a few travel sized luxuries in your suitcase (even if your suitcase tends to be filled to the brim like mine does). As all of these products are travel sized, this ultimately leaves more room in your suitcase for bringing back lots of holiday goodies.

Liz Earle Eyebright™ Soothing Eye Lotion The Body Shop Raspberry EDT Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Cleanser Liz Earle Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic Beauty Review

Liz Earle Eyebright™ Soothing Eye Lotion* £5.50
What I really adore about Liz Earle, amongst many other things, is the fact that they offer travel or sample sizes of so many of their wonderful products. This is obviously great when it comes to travelling but it's also fantastic that you can try out new products without having to commit to the full sizes. Make sure to look out for special deals and offers on the Liz Earle website as they often do promotions where you will get a free travel sized product with your order if you spend over a certain amount.
The Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion has quickly become one of my go to products of late. My eyes tend to get pretty itchy and tight feeling when the weather starts to get warmer, so this really is an essential product for me to take away with me on holiday (even though I'm not going on holiday until the end of the year, I'm already counting down the days! Hehe). It's great on sensitive skin and really cools and soothes the skin around the eyes.

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Cleanser (Sample Size)* Was £9 Now £6 (For Full Size)
When Escentual were looking for beauty bloggers to try out and review the DermoPURIFYER cleanser from Eucerin I was very excited to not only receive the full sized cleanser but an array of wonderful Eucerin samples as well.
This is especially great for dealing with blemishes and break outs, in addition to working as a traditional cleanser and my skin now feels smoother, softer and fresher than it has in a long time. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight at all, which is pretty remarkable for a cleanser like this. As a little goes a long way with this product, I know the sample size will be more than enough to keep me going whilst on holiday.
You can currently find the full sized cleanser for £6 on Escentual (link here).

The Body Shop Raspberry EDT* £8.50
Okay, so I know my last Summer Sun-days post was all about fragrances (link here) but I just had to include this fantastic little bottle of Raspberry EDT from The Body Shop. It really is the perfect bottle of perfume to take with you on your holidays this summer. It's a great size and a fantastic price which means you don't need to lug one of your pricier or larger bottles of perfume along for the journey.
This smells exactly like you would imagine. It's perfect for those who are fans of fruity fragrances. As I always say, I definitely recommend popping in to your local Body Shop store just to make sure this is the scent for you before purchasing. As it is an Eau De Toilette I would bare this in mind if you are looking for a fragrance that lasts the entire day. I do find I have to apply this a few times a day but I don't mind at all. I can't wait to spritz this in the morning, then around lunch time and then when I'm going out for dinner on my holidays.

Liz Earle Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic* £5.50
Much like the Eyebright™ lotion, this Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic is the ideal size to pack in your suitcase. This just leaves my skin feeling so clean and refreshed and I can definitely see a boost in the radiance and appearance of my skin too which is fantastic. I also feel like it's a pretty nice partner in crime to the Eyebright™ lotion and the Eucerin cleanser too.

Paul Mitchell Dry Wash® Express Dry Waterless Shampoo Beauty Review Paul Mitchell Stay Strong® Express Dry Strong Hold Hairspray

Paul Mitchell Dry Wash® Express Dry Waterless Shampoo* £9.95
When it comes to an essential beauty product to pack in your suitcase, dry shampoo is where it's at and this one from Paul Mitchell is one of the best I've ever tried. Say goodbye to any kind of white powder or residue when you're using this. In the past every other dry shampoo I've tried from the high street hasn't really performed that well for me at all but this is unlike any I've tried before. This means you don't have to wash your hair on a daily basis which is excellent if you're getting up to a lot of different activities on your holiday or even just lounging by the pool (I now really want to laze about beside a pool in the sunshine. Hehe).
And here's a little dry shampoo top tip while I'm at it; it's always better to apply dry shampoo the night before you would ordinarily apply it as it works so much better.

Paul Mitchell Stay Strong® Express Dry Strong Hold Hairspray* £7.50
This Hairspray from Paul Mitchell isn't your traditional hairspray but I mean that in a very good way. You don't get that trademark hairspray scent with this which is reason enough to grab a bottle of this but it also holds really well. I personally love using this hairspray to keep curls looking as curly as possible and it's great for making up do's look slick and held together too. It doesn't leave any kind of stickiness or residue behind and dries instantly.
Again, these two products from Paul Mitchell really are great to take with you on your holidays as it saves you having to cram big bulky spray bottles into your suitcase.

Orly Mani Mini Lacquer Trio Neon Shades Swatches Beauty Review

Orly Mani Mini Lacquer Trio £1
Never one not to take advantage of the Topshop sale (although having said that, I've not bought a single item in their recent sale...yet) I was sure to snap up this amazing deal when I saw it online. Three mini Orly nail lacquers for £1; you certainly have my attention. I may have bought five sets/the maximum amount I could buy at the time (expect a little giveaway featuring one of the sets at some stage!) but at that price who wouldn't? Even though I bought this set in the Christmas sales, I knew these would be perfect for summer and the bottles are just the cutest too.
I can't pick which colour I love the most out of these as all three are just the truest neon shades I've ever tried when it comes to nail polishes. The formulation is excellent and I have a feeling I can get quite a few manicures out of these mini bottles. They are definitely perfect to throw in my travel make-up bag.

What are your must-have travel sized products? Have you tried any of the products included in today's Summer Sun-days post? If so, what do you think of them?

The next blog post in this series will be dedicated to luxury or high-end summer make-up buys, so if you have any products that are a little on the pricier side that you love to use in the summer then be sure to let me know by leaving a comment below.
