Beauty UK CC Cream

Beauty UK CC Cream

Beauty UK CC Cream* £4.99

I've never tried a CC (Colour Correcting) Cream before so when Beauty UK gave me the opportunity to try some of their new products I was really intrigued by this product in particular.

Beauty UK CC Cream Swatch Review

(From left to right: product as dispensed from tube - product swatched and blended)

I wasn't sure what to expect from a CC Cream but I can now fully understand why they seemed to infiltrate the beauty world a little while ago. This offering from Beauty UK left my skin feeling dewy, with a slight glow and the cream is very lightweight but still applies well to the skin. It gives me medium coverage as I found a couple of blemishes almost disappeared completely under the cover of the CC Cream. Plus as an added bonus, this CC Cream boasts the inclusion of an SPF30, which is incredibly important not only in the sunny summer months but throughout the year no matter what the weather is like or what season it is.

A little really does go a long way with this product so just watch when you are dispensing it as it can be a little runny. Just so you don't squeeze out too much since you really don't need that much at all to ensure it is applied to your entire face.

Again I've been won over when it comes to packaging. I love that the CC letters on the front of the tube allow you to see product within the packaging, a really nice touch from Beauty UK.

My only issue with this is that even the lightest shade is a little too dark for me but this could be because I am so incredibly pale. If I ever did tan in the slightest, which unfortunately I never do, then this would be such a great shade to wear in the warmer months. However it was rather visible that this was a different shade from my skin. I really wanted it to be a perfect match but regrettably it wasn't. All I can say is please make more shades Beauty UK! This really would be the perfect product for me if it was a shade lighter since I'm not a huge fan of wearing heavy foundation on a day-to-day basis. I definitely would recommend this product as long as you aren't as ghostly pale as I am. Hehe.

Have you tried CC creams before? If so, what do you think of them and which ones have you tried? Have you had issues trying to find the perfect shade to suit you when it comes to CC creams?
