This month's Degustabox, like every one that I've received thus far, is jam-packed full of products, many of which are perfect for the warmer months. As with every Degustabox review that I do, I have a fantastic discount code for you to use to take a massive £7 off the £12.99 price tag. Up until this month, this was previously £6 off. All you have to do is enter the code TDBONUSJULY when you register. And in addition to that, 3 lucky readers will also win a Degustabox of their own simply by entering the Rafflecopter entry form below.
But back to the July box itself, what exactly does the July BBQ box comprise of, well let's see;
After last month's box, which was easily one of my all time favourites, I had a feeling that I might be slightly disappointed in this month's box and in a way I was right. This doesn't mean that this month's box is a bad one by any means but it just wasn't to my personal taste. The rest of my family, on the other hand, really loved this month's box and have found some real gems when it comes to the products and brands included in the July box. And that's just one reason that I continue to speak so highly of Degustabox. Even if there's a product or products that you won't personally consume, you'll easily find someone else, be it a family member, colleague or friend who will appreciate trying something new and most likely, become obsessed with said product or products.
The one item that I was over the moon to find in this month's box was the Rowntree's Fruit Pastilles Infusions. These are just great and as a big Fruit Pastilles fan already, I had a feeling that I would enjoy these and I did. They're such a great twist on the classic flavours and the bag was easily devoured within the space of an afternoon. The other two sweet treats or more if you count each of the Choco Liebniz individually, were also fantastic. I was surprised with myself that I liked the Brookside Dark Chocolate Acai and Blueberry bites as much as I did but they tasted incredible. It just shows, don't always think that just because something is a little bit out of your comfort zone, doesn't mean that you won't like it. The Choco Leibniz were well within my comfort zone, on the other hand and made for great little snacks throughout the week.
My eye was also instantly drawn to the Seabrook Lattice crisps, when I opened the box and boy, were these good. The chorizo flavour was gorgeous and I really loved the lattice effect. It's always handy to have a bottle of balsamic vinegar in the cupboard, the same can be said for muesli but none of us have been brave enough to try the itsu Crispy Seaweed Thins or jar of crunchy gherkins yet. Do these sound like something you'd be open to trying?
As for drinks, there's some more great finds. The pineapple, coconut and lime fruit juice is so tasty, as is the spanish orange Rejuvenation Water. My brother, the health fanatic of the family, gives the ALO aloe vera drink a thumbs up as well as the can of Q Cumber. The cans of Berrywhite were also brilliant, especially at the end of a particularly warm or muggy day.
